Way too think, don't know what we will do with a tub of this stuff. Used regular grout which worked like a charm. A backsplash? Maybe this would work for?

I've been in construction for 25 years and have laid thousands of tiles. Recently somebody dropped one of the heavy curtain rode hangers for our shower curtain cracking one of our Tiles in the shower, I finally decided to replace it. Considering I was just gonna replace one tile I didn't want to buy a whole bag of thin se so I decided to give Acrylpro "Professional" tile adhesive a try. Well after not being able to use my shower for 3 days because this stuff never set up and remained robbery to the touch, I finally gave up and allowed my family to start taking showers again. In less than a week the tile detached and popped loose, this stuff is absolute garbage..

Don't touch this stuff. Especially on floors. Just google to find the horror stories. Also note Home Depot pushes this stuff like crazy and there are some pretty bizarre rave reviews out there that are clearly not honest. Again -- just google it and read.

I really like this stuff as an easy to use and effective tile adhesive. I have used it to set 12" x 12" ceramic tiles on both floors and walls and I have to say it has made the process simple. While AcrylPro Ceramic Tile Adhesive has gotten less stellar reviews by some people, I suspect some of them may not have read, understood, and/or followed the directions. This material is great for placing and holding tiles as you work, it allows plenty of time for adjusting and correcting level and spacing, yet it sets and holds well in the times specified. It isn't a fast-set type of material and it is temperature sensitive in regard to setting times. (ie: It requires a minimum temperature for setting: 50º F, but warmer is better. And it takes longer to cure when temps are less than ideal.) I like to give this material a good 72 hours to cure, though the temps I have used it with haven't been as ideal as one might like. I would purchase this material through Amazon, but shipping for the product -to Alaska- is several times what the purchase price is, so I've had to buy and ship it myself when I get to town.

I use this adhesive for mosaic work all the time and it hasn't failed me. I work with all kinds of surfaces and it holds well.
