Exactly what we needed

The 9 pin connectors are typical for an inexpensive product. You just need to use some care to not keep the soldering iron on too long. The housings were as shown, though I would prefer housings with rubber strain reliefs to fit in the opening. The main problem I had was that the screws for the strain clamps are so soft that the phillips head stripped out before I could get them tightened down enough to hold on to the cable. I had to use some #4 screws that I had in my parts box.
