This mounting tape is incredibly strong, and better than anything I’ve ever tried. I used it to hang several items without nails or screws, and everything has stayed securely in place. The clear tape is virtually invisible, easy to apply, and creates a clean, professional look. If you want a dependable mounting solution that actually holds, this tape delivers.

Everything sticks. Be prepared for the flat side of the roll to stick to whichever surface you set it down on. Once the backing is removed, there is no substrate on this tape. It is essentially a thick, solid strip of glue. It can stretch a bit and is pliable. It's useful for a number of applications where you want a clean look where you don't want to have any visible fasteners or are looking for a low profile solution. I used this to hold down a pesky USB hub that kept lifting off of the desk due to the stiffness of the cables. Highly recommended.

It works great. They just need to make it easier to peel the backing off.

The adhesive wizards at Scotch/3M have really made a name for themselves with this amazing clear mounting tape. It's super-sticky on both sides, so it holds a surprising amount of weight, but it's also pliable enough which adds a significant amount of strength. You can stick any two hard surfaces together with this stuff, be it wood, plastic, metal, glass, granite, ceramic, or your kid's head, to create a strong, long-lasting bond. I've used this stuff for mounting various set-top boxes (Such as the Amazon Fire TV) to the backs or a Wii Sensor Bar to the top of TVs, added signs to doors, and affixed various hooks and mounts to windows. You'll probably find plenty of uses for this stuff, so you won't regret buying the big roll. However, I would NOT advise using this on painted walls or drywall, because while you can try to jam a putty knife or other stiff flat surface in to remove, you'll more than likely pull up a layer of sheetrock along with it, leaving behind fine divet. I thought I was crafty in mounting some surround speakers to the wall with this stuff, but the granular nature of sheetrock made the bond weak, so word to the wise. For walls, you can't beat the other 3M masterpiece, the Command strips for lightweight items, and just use proper anchors and screws for heavier items. Knowing that, however, this is still my favorite adhesive product.

Mounted some ceiling lights with this tape. Theyre still up!

This will peel off your paint & I'm not joking!! It's expensive but it's strong, sticky, thick and you can use it for anything. We used it to hold down lights in my sons room and it pulled the paint off the wall when I needed to remove them. Ugh!!
