Do your 56mm filter paper fit a diameter outside: 50mm filtration flask?

No _ I had to cut them down ; 50 mm papers seem hard to get 😞

What is the temperature range they will work with and which solvents are compatible?

For my purposes filtering will be done below freezing so wouldn't be much help as far as your question the range of working temp. It is not specified on packaging but filters seem solid
