Munchkin wouldn't be right without it.
This is a great expansion. You really should get 1,2, and this one. That makes for a perfect deck with a nice stack of cards that makes for lots of enjoyment from the game with less repetition. Some great things about this expansion:1. Gnomes! Such a cool race. Monsters treat like halflings. But Gnomes when in combat alone, can bring in a monster from their hand to fight along aside them! So nice to pull out level 20 monster to crush all of your friends buffs.2. Bard! Finally a new class is added. And man is this one good. You can Enthrall opponents into fighting alongside you (no choice, and no benefits to them) Nothing better than making someone do your dirty work. The catch? YOu have to discard a card and it becomes a role of the die. You beat them in the die toss...they come to your aid. You also get to pick up an extra treasure and discard the one you don't want. I love the bard class. But still they all feel balanced.3. You don't need anymore than that greatness. Everything else is just icing. Just click buy and get the expansion. You will not regret it. My family and friends love it.

Get this expansion first
Another great expansion. I got this first for my set and I would recommend you do the same as well. It adds a new class and new race which will introduce a lot of diversity into your games. The expansions are crucial if you play with any more than 3 people. I have found once I get to 4 players and up it is easy to burn through a full set of cards without finishing. Nothing kills the momentum of the game than going back through the deck again. I find most of the fun is forgetting what cards are in the stack and being surprised when someone whips out some card you can barely believe is real.Get this expansion!

A great add-on.
As everyone else has already assured you, this product is a great add-on to the Munchkin board game. I would like to add that although this expansion adds both a race and a class, I don't necessarily recommend buying this expansion before Munchkin 2: Unnatural Axe. I personally did based on other reviews, and my friends and I had many games where we couldn't stop drawing class and race cards, leading us to not have any fights for several rounds. Also, this pack adds a single Orc card(a race introduced in the second expansion), that has little purpose because it doesn't come with any equipment for Orcs to use. No matter which order you buy them in, you will be happy with your purchase. However, I suggest going in the intended order to avoid a disproportionate number of class and race cards. To reiterate though, this expansion is a ton of fun, and the new cards it adds will reinvigorate the game when it starts to become predictable.

I love Munchkins so much lol
I’ve played *Munchkin* five or six times just this year—mostly with family, sometimes with friends—and every session turns into total chaos in the best way. Once you understand the rules (which don’t take long), it becomes all about timing, strategy, and knowing when to mess someone over… or play nice just long enough to gain an advantage. The game doesn’t take itself seriously, and that’s part of the fun. You’re fighting monsters with ridiculous names, looting treasure, changing races and classes mid-game—it’s unpredictable, and that’s what keeps it interesting. Just don’t expect anyone to stay on your side for long.If your group likes humor, trash talk, and a little friendly betrayal, this one hits the mark. It’s not about deep strategy—it’s about having a laugh while trying to climb to Level 10 before anyone else stabs you in the back (figuratively... mostly).

Stop reading reviews and start playing Munchkin already!
Games like Munchkin can cost a lot when you factor in how much each expansion costs, but you luckily don't need every expansion in order to enjoy the game. I have the main set along with the first two expansions (unnatural axe and clerical errors), and the huge number of cards this allows me to play with will take a very long time to get bored with before I even consider more expansions. The large variety of cards makes for a very challenging and different gameplay every time you bring this out. It is easy to learn, and makes for a great, humorous, and strategic card game.

Fun, but starts to complicate the game
This is a great value expansion pack. My only issue with it is that the game quickly gets more complicated with the expansions, so it's tougher to explain to others and get started quickly. This adds some fun elements though.

Perfect first expansion pack
Munchkins as a game is a great experience. Perfect for bringing people together through spite. This expansion pack adds a lot of fun and unique cards to the game that can really change how you strategize and enjoy the game. Perfect for a first expansion pack.

Game on!
This is a great expansion pack! It looks like the creators decided to get dirty with this one! We already have the first three packs, and this one is definitely taking the game to a new level. There is no more Mr. Nice Munchkin here! We even decided to add some of our own Munchkin cards to add to the game, including the "Curse! Drink B*tch" Card which requires the cursed player to make drinks all night. This game is great for all ages. Our circle of friends ranges from 27-34 and we have an absolute blast!
