Is there a place to buy a replacement tip? Mine bent and broke under very slight pressure.

They bend under slight pressure because of how hot they get, just like cheap soldering tips do as well. Harbor freight does sell a kit just like this but I would recommend searching a bit more to try and find higher quality tips.

Does it come in white or clear plastic?

No, just comes with the black rods. However, depending on what you're trying to weld the plastic is easy to get. If you're trying to repair damage to high-density polyethylene (HDPE), such as a hole in a kayak, then simply cut off pieces from a bucket. I used a Lowe's bucket because my kayak is blue... Home Depot has orange... Tractor Supply and Ace Hardware have white. Alternatively, you can buy the rods separately just make sure it's the right can of plastic for the repair.

Will any of the rods work on a plastic gas tank? Are they gasoline resistant?

I would worry about heating up a gas tank but the plastic is rigidity setup.

Will this work on an ice shanty sled

It is a great soldering iron for welding broken plastics. I have an airplane instrument panel that is made out of plastics. Over the years, this panel has cracked into multiple pieces. Nevertheless, I have been able to rejuvenate it back to life by melting them back together.
