Bioshock Infinite: Siege Of Columbia

If you're a big Bioshock fan like I am, stop reading and just purchase this great board game. Dropping to around $21 from around $60, there's really no need to second guess if you should include this game to your Bioshock-related collection. Even if you're not a fan of Bioshock or have never heard of or even played the video games, there is lots to appreciate in this strongly thematic strategy board game. The units are wonderfully detailed; the cards are rich in their art work; the quality of the board and all the components are top-notch, making one see the $80 original price the game once had; and all the components flow in a very satisfying way. The gameplay itself is surprisingly deep as well, allowing the players to upgrade their battle cards, take risks with different movements along the board's "rails", and think ahead. It's similar to risk in that you conquer territories, but all the extra strategy elements take the game to a different level. It has a steep learning curve, but once you get over that hurdle you'll be playing like a champ. I highly recommend it.

Very nice game for 2 or 4 players, especially if you have played Bioshock Infinitive (it is not required for you to play, but you have all the references from the game in the board game).The game mechanics work very well, they weren't just making a simple game and trying to shove bioshock in it to sell (as we sometimes see in other franchises).Nice components, a beautiful art and a funny game to play. I strongly reccomend it.

Very fun, very involved area control game. It's risk + an economic engine + rpg elements.The only problem is that the rule book is very hefty and it's very easy to make mistakes when playing. I would highly suggest watching the various YouTube tutorials that are available.

Great quality game. Worth the price now at $30-35. I wouldn't pay more though as this is a nitch player interest game. Not a game for players who like uncomplicated games. This game has a lot of cogs moving. But it's not too much to confuse you too much either. It's totally learn-able, and there's videos all over the place to teach you how to play. Totally awesome for those needing help. But don't let those notes scare you from enjoying the game if you loved the video game. The Songbird is just as scary awesome in this game. The Airship is too. And Booker is even scarier. PS: This game is very well balanced.

I'm a big fan of the video game, and was interested to see how this would translate to a boaard game. It is a fun way to add to the fun of the video game, but before you play you should really study the instruction book. There is alot involved with this game and its best to have a full understanding beforehand rather than learn as you go. I would even suggest downloading the rulebook online and reading that before even purchasing the game to see if it is right for you. There are also videos online of the actual gameplay for an even better understanding. Once the rules are out of the way the game itself is enjoyable and would probably be more fun with a group rather than just two people. It kind of shares some similarities with Risk if you wanted to compare it with anything else out there, but there are also lots of references and events in the game to please the fans of the video game. Also set aside alot of time to play it as the game can go on for quite some time.

This is really a review more for the seller than the game. I purchased the game as a gift, and when it was opened there was one small piece missing. I immediately contacted the seller, (Scorpion RPG), who got back to me very quickly, replying that they'd either send me a replacement piece or an entirely new game. It was so nice to have such a pleasant customer service experience! They have been amazing and I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. We got the new piece, and now we can really enjoy the game!I will say as a side note, this is an intense board game as far as learning it goes. Took two full grown adults several hours and a 40 min. YouTube instructional video. It seems like it will be a lot of fun once you get the rules down, though.

Llegó en muy buen estado. Es un gran juego si jugaste BioShock infinite. Las reglas algo complicadas si estás acostumbrado/a a juegos más sencillos y prácticos.
