I was unsure about this, given the price. I’d also looked at the EBay options, but decided to go with this for the reviews, albeit there were only three at the time. Anyway, I was nervous about doing this. Party way through changing the battery I wondered about static (say in my slippers and stuff!). I didn’t think my faithful watch would start-up again! The tools seem better quality than I’d thought they would be. The instructions were good, though I did go on to YouTube and found a video instruction too. I felt this was useful. It’s fine now that I’ve done it once, I can see what the written instructions mean, but I’d recommend looking for a video too. All in all, brilliant value and my watch is working perfectly after the minor surgery! Great value and good quality.

Completely saved my Samsung S3 classic watch! Was down to 10 hours battery life on my original battery and tried this to see if it would work. A bit fidgety to install but all parts and tools are supplied and I managed it in 20 mins. A wee tip is to do the job on top of a piece of white paper to see all removed parts easily as the screws are small. Followed the instructions supplied with the kit but also watched a few online vids to help before attempting. Watch is back to 2 day battery charge! Excellent stuff. Was thinking it was for the bin but this has saved a decent watch as the samsung were charging crazy money to do this small job.

This product saved me the hassle and cost of buying new watch (£300) and repair cost of £72 paying to samsung. My watch never used to stay on for more than 2 minutes so most probably it was a battery fault. Replace the battery and my watch is like brand new. Cons: The tools are of cheap quality and instructions/print were not clear. I watch youtube videos to unassemble and assemble it.

Like most reviewers, I too was a little concerned about replacing the battery, especially as doing so breaks the waterproof seal. This product came well packaged and with fairly detailed instructions - there are numerous YouTube videos which I suggest watching- I agree with reviewer N, that commented on the metal utility tool. A little too thick, and with the central protective padding quite slippery, I found that my hand slipped several times in attempting to remove back case resulting in a cut finger. That being said, and not being super delicate by nature, I have replaced the battery in the watch. It powers on and the watch life is back to 2 full days light use, and a full day of heavy use. The only downside is the bezel ring doesn’t scroll anymore, although it will still wake watch. This is more likely to be my workmanship and something not quite connected. Overall money well spent and definitely given a new lease of life to my watch.

I was genuinely surprised at the quality of this product. I'm used to ordering things like this and getting a zip-lock bag with hand-written labels, but this came in good, retail packaging, the included tools were surprisingly high quality (I mean, not fantastic, but more than good enough) and after charging, my S3's battery life is right back to where it was when it was new. The instructions are okay, but I would highly recommend searching a youtube video to see exactly how it's done. I work in IT so pulling electronics apart and putting them back together is my bread and butter...and while replacing the battery isn't difficult, it IS extremely fiddly, and there are parts of the disassembly where you literally can't tell whether you need a little more force to get something loose or whether you're about to break something. (Removing the main board from its housing does feel like you're breaking it and if you pry it up from the wrong side it would be REALLY easy to break the battery cable). I can highly recommend this kit, I'd just also recommend spending 20 minutes on youtube so you'e sure you know exactly what you're doing before you even touch a screwdriver.

The battery is alright, but the tools are pathetic. The plastic ones bend and snap and the metal one slices your hand.

Got this next day delivery as my watch kept randomly turning itself off. After a watching couple of videos on YouTube I had a go. It was fairly easy if not a little fiddly, just being careful not to damage anything as I went. Had it in a couple of days now and so far so good. UPDATE: Had it about a week and a half now and all of a sudden the watch wont turn on. Was working great up until then. Could be a dud battery.

Had my watch nearly 4 years but battery was had serious problem and would only last a few hours, even on power saving mode. Took it swimming and it had a melt down, kept rebooting and screen wouldn't turn on except for rare occasions, basically watch was ready for the bin. Though I'd give this a go and glad I did. Watched a you tube video and found it very easy to do in about 2 minutes with everything included in the kit. Watch now works brilliantly. The newer versions don't do anything my watch doesn't so didn't want to spend 300 quid on a new one. This is well worth a go at 15 quid if the alternative is to through your watch in the bin and buy a new one imo.

Vienen las herramientas necesarias para abrir el reloj junto con la batería. Siguiendo las instrucciones no es difícil sustituirla. Una vez instalada me dura casi 3 días sin cargar el reloj, así que lo estoy estrenando de nuevo tras 4 años! Recomendable al cien x cien

Después de ponerle la batería y notar que duraba algo más ahora el reloj ya ni enciende. Yo personalmente no lo recomendaría.
