I have carpal tunnel in both wrist's, am service connected of one with the US Department of Veteran's Affair's (US DVA), but oddly never been tested by the US DVA with this nor any other device- not even on a US DVA Compensation and Pension Exam (C&P)- TRUE, but Sad!!!!!Furthermore, until overcome by "idiocy," etc.. I had one of my family members in the US DVA "caregiver Program!" Never once the the US DVA send an "Occupational Therapist" to my home to evaluate it nor myself- and both VA nurses "checking" on US quit/or decided to move to another US DVA System- how odd is that?????I also, understand there are ways, when I purchased this device, to test one's pain "thresh-hold's" scientifically, etc.... and this has never been done by US DVA either.....???????Finally, to my knowledge, there are no "occupational therapists" working in Gulf Coast VA System/ VISN-16, or if they are it is a very "closley" guarded secret and a veteran must find out for themselves and request a "specialty" clinic appointment through their US DVA Primary Care Provider as I have had to do, myself, for almost every "Specialty" Clinic within Gulf Coast VA I have ever attended.....is this correct?????For a broad overview as well a "good" just student information I would recommend "SO YOU WANT TO BE A THERAPIST?
