This was my favorite heating pad for my cat. She was 22 years old and recently passed but she loved this. It lasted a year and a half running everyday 24 hours a day.It’s a great value for the money. Easy to clean and easy to wash the cover. It’s ready to go the moment you unbox it. It’s perfect size for a dog or cat -small to medium size. I think this could work for a large dog if he/she just needed some heat.I believe this kept my cat out of pain before she passed. It soothed her arthritis. It keeps its shape perfectly. Easy to assemble like I said it’s ready to go right out of the box.I highly recommend this. Even on high it wasn’t too much for her. It has a 24 hour button that allows you to keep it on for that long and it has a range of hours too.I miss my sweet cat so very much. We buried her under a brand new willow tree. I truly believe this product gave me an extra year with her.I always had an extra quilt for her that I doubled up on the bed to dispense the heat and it would lay on top of that. That isn’t needed for this ..it’s nice all by itself.Thank you to makers of this heating pad for animals. It gave my sweet cat comfort when she needed it the most. Whether she had two paws on it or laying on her back or stomach while on it.. she was happy to have it.Oh yeah, I kept a second one in the living room in case she wanted to come in there with us. She often did. She didn’t want to go without her heating pad and think that alone attests to quality of this product. We tried so many and this is what she loved! You can’t go wrong with this. I felt safe enough to leave it on when I was not home.

Oh my spoiled princess Missy just loves this. I have 2 of them. At the foot of my bed where she lives to lay, I put this in the covers for her and she LOVES it. She will get in it and when it starts warming, she will groom and then she's out like a light. It's funny now because if I don't have this out when she jumps up on the bed, she will literally just stand there, looking at me then the floor, where I keep it under the bed. When I reach under the bed, she squeaks and then moved back to allow room for me to place it. It's VERY easy to understand . The controls are so easy. The heat control is from 1 to 6, I keep it on 3. There is a 4,8,12 and 24 hour timer too. I always keep it on 4 hours. Easy in and off button. It's very very soft and the cover is washable. The power cord is long enough too. This is really a safe and reliable item, that's why I have 2 of them. If you find that your unit is blinking during use, check the plug. I find that when the plug comes loose in the socket, it blinks. It's a nice safety feature. Great item and I have tried 2 other heating pads for my girl and they didn't measure up to the quality of this one. Missy fits perfectly in it too. She's about 11 pounds(a full figured gal) and all of her fits perfectly. It's also pretty too.

I absolutely love this cat heating pad—and more importantly, so does my cat! I had a different one before without a timer, so I really appreciate that I can now control the heat and set a shutoff time. It never gets too hot, just warm and cozy. I left it out for a day and eventually my cat gave in—and now it’s his favorite place to curl up when there’s no sun in the window. Highly recommend if you’re looking to spoil your furry little companion!

Warms well, good controls

My kitties don't like to cuddle or sit very close to each other except when it comes to their "warmy pad" Then all bets are off!I purposely waited to write this review until they'd used it for a while so it'd be honest and best reflect its longevity.I can definitely say this pet heating pad is all around amazing!!!It's very sturdy, easy to clean and I love the timer and adjustable temperature (although there's only two heat settings we use and they're the two lowest ones!)I did catch them chewing the cord a few times in the beginning so having the plastic cover is a relief! My female cat tends to throw up so the washable cover made cleaning a breeze. I do wish the cover was a tad thicker however I top it with a knit baby blanket and that has been just right (as seen in the pictures)I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a pet heating pad. It's lasted us all this time AND is still going strong- even with a lot of use.

My dog gave me kisses of thanks for the new bed heater. The side with the coils is a bit warm. I put the heater between two blankets to protect my floor and to allow my dog to scrunch up the blanket on top of the heater.The middle setting heat is fairly warm. I recommend putting the heat pad in / on a dog bed if your floor is vinyl or laminate. It’s fairly warm for direct surface contact.Definitely worth the money.

I like how soft the cover is and the cord is very good quality but I have it set on the highest setting and it’s just barely warm to the touch. I don’t even understand what the other settings would be for. The timer setting is nice though.

The cat loves it and complains when it's turned off on a cold day. It helps us save on heating bills. We can keep the house at 64 deg F and not worry about our elder cat suffering from the cold. It uses only a bit of electricity. It gets slightly warm, just enough to feel toasty. I tossed out the polyester cover and use it with a cotton flannel pillowcase.The LED indicator lights are too damn bright. I covered them with dimming stickers.You can set it to shut off automatically after 4, 8, 12 hours, or remain on. In the always-on setting, it stays on for about a week before it shuts off.Edited to add: It has worked reliably for a year and counting. The cat used it every day for 6 months over the cold season.
