Great book
I ordered this book since I purchased volume 1. I like volume one so hopefully I like volume 2. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is a couple of the pages came tapped up. manufacturer error maybe. must have been cut and tapped up with white tape then the book put together. I have a replacement coming so hoping that one is ok. I have really been wanting to learn Korean so first I need to learn the Korean alphabet .Edit- received replacement book and it had no issues. Cant wait to start this book. Changing to 5 stars. I am satisfied.

Good workbook for practicing writing Hangul
Some of the explanations are a little confusing and the pronunciation guide is a little off, but this book is still pretty useful and there are many opportunities to practice writing the letters. On p. 34, English bed/bad are compared to French é and è but the corresponding English vowels would be closer to bait and bet. I had to look up the IPA symbols for the vowels to make sure I had the right pronunciation, because a lot of the English words to show what the vowel sounds like on p. 8 are slightly off. I recommend checking out Korean phonology on wikipedia to learn the real pronunciation.ㅐand ㅙ both have the vowel as in bet; whereas ㅔ and ㅞ both have the vowel as in bait (which is the same for ㅚ nowadays). What and watch are not pronounced with the same vowel (should be watt instead of what); neither won nor want are pronounced like ㅓ (aw as in lawn but shorter/less rounded).I don't think there was any mention of when p, t, and k should be aspirated.I wish there were more opportunities to practice writing syllables instead of just the letters in isolation (more of pages 80-81 please!) as well as if those syllables are also words. For example, when combining ae with the consonants: gae, - dog, sae - bird, hae - sun, bae - ship, etc.The inclusion of the different writing styles was very useful since some letters are unrecognizable in certain fonts or handwriting (looking at you ㄹ!)

Challenging Workbook for Solo Study
And improvement on Vol 1, but it suffers a little if you’re a solo learner due to the lack of instruction. I can imagine this being great with a teacher present.

Learn the basic quickly!
If you use this book with video explanations that you can find on YouTube, you can pick things up very quickly. I got this because I bought Vol. 1!

Great series for learning!!!
I have completed vol 1 and honestly this series has helped me self-learn Hangul faster and easier than a previous selection I tried. I will complete this and move on to speaking, hopefully!!
