Looks and works as advertised! Really cool light for any kid that is into tornadoes/weather or who enjoys a really neat looking night.

This tornado lamp is really fun. Pro tip for anyone who buys one: at first it seems like it’s not working, but this appears to be because it alternates a slower and faster speed so that it is consistently creating new tornadoes. That means sometimes the little turning device is not going very fast and it kind of seems like it’s not working, but then it will alternate and go faster and then make the tornado. We love it.

My 6 yr old son is on the autism spectrum and he is obsessed with tornadoes so he absolutely loved this! He runs it for hours so we’re obviously better off connecting it straight to the outlet than running it with batteries but when we go out he likes to take it and we run it with batteries. Only thing I didn’t like was that the gold paint on the top of the bullet was a little scratch off so the paint had peeled off a bit. It wasn’t bad enough for me to return it though, I’m just hoping the paint doesn’t continue peeling off. Besides that little chipped paint it is absolutely fascinating to watch as it rotates and changes colors.

It's not bad, the tornado effect and colours are cool to watch. At first I thought it was broken, because the fan would stop spinning for several seconds before coming back on. After a few repetitions, I realised it was supposed to do that for some reason. I'd give it 5 stars if it didn't have that feature. I'd prefer watching the tornado continuously.

My daughter and son both loved this. They are on the cheaper side but for the price you can’t beat it. We have both the blue and red ones. Not remote controlled but they do take batteries.

Arrived with broken charging port. Ordered a replacement and it worked for less than a week and charging port broke again.

Shipped and Delivered before Easter 🐣. Got this for my 5 Yr old Son who loves 🌪️ Tornados 😎 So far so good, I will update in a few weeks. Still holding on to the box. I saw other reviews that it stopped working less then a month. I have till May 1st for return.

I love the idea of this lamp and really liked it when I first saw it. However, there was always a problem with the different lamps that I received. The first one had a sticker directly on the lamp itself and removing it broke the USB. I don't know if Amazon me that mistake or if Yakii thought it was a good idea to put a sticker directly on a lamp but it stayed there and needed a ton of Goo gone to be removed. And then the USB didn't have its center port so I had to contact the company for a refund which they pushed back on an initially and only wanted to give $10. The second one had cloudy water throughout and was not enjoyable at all. The third one did not come with a USB cable so even though it was represented as new, it was sent used. Since this uses micro USB, I don't have cables at my disposal. The fourth one lost power intermittently so I also had to return that one. And finally the fifth one. There were so many issues with the other ones that I don't even remember why I had to return this one except for the fact that because it was received used but represented as new, it wasn't usable. So why am I coming back to it a sixth time? Honestly, it's the only type of lamp of its kind and I am a big lava/unique lamp collector. I'm just hoping not to run into this issue again, but I will update my review if that actually happens. I don't know who to blame because it seems that Amazon is not doing quality control checks for used items the way they should be.

My son was mystified by the vortex created by water as it drains and asked me what that is. For reasons, i forgot the world and called it a tornado, yes.. i know, but he's 3. Now, he wanted to see the tornado... over, and over...and over after bath. So i promised i'll buy him a "tornado" if he will go to bed. "In a bottle?!" he exclaimed, "Of course, let's see if they have one on amazon" i said.. with a sly grin, already preparing my "oh noo... it doesn't exist face".. Well, you're reading this, so we both know how that went down. Point is, it works, he loves it.

Item was extremely scratched and had large gauges out of the plastic. I returned the item straight back to Amazon for a refund. The box was completely undamaged but the item itself was in terrible condition. Would not recommend buying.
