Allergy
I have been dealing with a Histamine intolerance for 6 years now without knowing exactly what was wrong. I’d go to my dermatologist b/c it felt like Stinging nettles all over along with bumps. The dermatologist brushed me away and gave me anti histamines and when asked “isn’t that a bandage fix?” She replied with, “well you can do what I say or see an allergist”. So after realizing even after the ignorant comment and getting brushed away, I thought id seek what a histamine is and find the more natural way to help myself rather than killing my organs slowly. This is one of 2 books and Vitamin E have really helped slow if not stop my allergy.

Never knew.....
Very informative book! GI Dr. has NEVER mentioned this as a possible source only prescribed drugs to stop abdominal discomfort!!! I thought I was eating "healthy" only to find out these foods were culprits of inflammation. The journal has helped keep track of symptoms.

Understand Histamine Intolerance
Histamine Intolerance is clearly explained in everyday language. This book is a great starting point. Then if you love science and physiology, you can find something more in-depth afterwards. This book gives details of what to do to help with this condition. Very helpful.

A good starer book
This might be a good book for someone who is just starting to struggle with histamine intolerance or has struggled with it and not had it identified. Myself, I have mastocytosis and was hoping to learn a lot more about how histamines play a role in my condition as well as overall. Many things in this book were already known to me, but I am considering a keto diet now and plan on talking to my doctor about it.

Easy to Understand Read
After reading 2 other books prior to this book about histamine intolerance, I found this book to be the most helpful. It is a personal story, but included information that is easy to understand for a lay person like myself. It helped me to understand what I am facing with histamine intolerance.

Disappointing for content -- Nothing in here not covered on websites
Unfortunately, I perused it too late to return it since Amazon tucked the order under this digital tab; the Amazon digital section is one that I never use. That's taking point at Amazon; whereas my disappointment on this product is covered in my headline.

very basic, nothing new
I guess if you don't know ANYTHING about Histamine this might be helpful.

It has helped me
There is a lot to learn. This book has helped me find direction. I’ve already been using SCD which has helped some. Now I’ve been guided in this direction I do find I am feeling so much better. Some of it contradicts what I’ve already learned, but I wouldn’t have been searching still if I wasn’t still suffering, it has helped me understand that maybe I need to mix and match the knowledge I’ve picked up on the way. I’m confident that knowing Histamine Intolerance exists, has already given me a chance. Ok Christmas was even more limited than usual but I was almost symptom free. Definitely worth it

Thankful l found it
These books are so easy to read and understand. I bought all 3 and am using them all together. I use the journal as a guide and have my own food diary. I started the three day low histamine diet and then blew it by eating an almond croissant. Now l have to start all, over again! As another reviewer noted, l have had to give up all the goodies. Interestingly l have found that the majority of foods on the high list are ones l avoid anyway. But l do like my salad dressings. Oh well. I did find that the supplements and heart rate monitors were too expensive for me. However a big thank you to Tony for putting all this information together.

Great Information - Well Written - Easy to Action
A really good balance between being simple to read, easy to understand, yet having more detailed information than a quick Google search will give you. The best book on Low Histamine I have read so far and I would recommend it to anyone who is exploring this aspect of nutrition. Why did I not give it 5 stars? There is a recipe for a low histamine tomato sauce but it lacked a three day meal plan that could kick start someone immediately - helping them to put it into action while the book was still in the hands of the reader. They do other books with this but I wanted that bit now.Good though - very good - would recommend.

Great insights, only negative supps are missing
This book is a great introduction to histamine intolerance. Future editions could go a little bit deeper into what supplements to steer clear of, like nicotinic acid, and what others, more histamine friendly, could be used instead if you're optimising your protocol beyond histamine (e.g. recovery from fatty liver).
