The materials are easy to use and keep clean which is a big plus. It gives her that chance to ask questions and me the chance to answer with what I know or help her find answers for herself. The DVD is a bit dry but obviously very helpful if you have questions about the written instruction book. You will also wind up with extra materials after you finish the 65 planned experiments so you child can go by and repeat their favorite ones for fun or try something they can think of on their own and discover something knew. I cannot recommend this kit enough.
