I have arthritis in my hands and can no longer use a manual can opener. I saw this on Facebook and considered a new one because my last one broke. I was shocked when I saw the price, but after all the good reviews, I decided I had to try it. Well, this surprised me, mainly how well it works. I loved it so much that I purchased it for a friend who also has arthritis, and she too thinks it is a miracle because many we have tried in the past did not last very long before they would begin skipping and no longer work.

Had one of these for a long time but it eventually got dull. Replaced with a cheaper one and, after several frustrating minutes just trying to get the batteries in, I gave up. Threw it away and spent the extra to get this one again. Ya get whatcha pay for.

EDIT: It is now October of 2022 and sadly, this can opener, which I loved so much has been relegated to the back of the drawer and my electric can opener is back up on my counter. This little gadget has stopped opening cans cleanly and easily and I don't understand why. I keep everything clean and change the batteries as soon as the opener starts running slow. It just doesn't do a good job, anymore. I am so bummed. I don't regret my purchase but until it gets a redesign that lets it work effectively for more than just a year, I won't buy a new one. Oh and just an idea, think about making these can openers rechargeable! Original Review: I saw this can opener while watching a YouTube video and I admit, I was influenced. This little can opener is so easy to use and it's easy to keep stashed away in a drawer. This opener works so well that we tucked away in a cabinet the electric can opener that we've had taking up room on our counter top for years. Pro tip: Let it run around the top of the can twice.

Absolutely love it. It was such a cheap buy but such a good quality. I also love how it is to clean and the design makes it easy to store. I have had mine for years and it still has a super sharp blade and removed the lid with ease and no danger of cutting my fingers on the side of the can anymore.

This is a fantastic item. A must buy for right or left handed person. I love this. The most important, it leaves NO edges to cut you. Really , I was so surprised. I highly recommend this product.

DO NOT BUY this can opener!!!!! I purchased many items because I was moving and needed a compact can opener, I do not have very much space in my kitchen. After I received it, I put it away in a box until when it was to be moved into my new place. I took it out the other day to use it and it does not work. I asked my son in law to help me because I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. He could not get it to work either. He tried shutting it off and it would not turn off. We had to leave it and when we returned 20 minutes later it was still going, however it does not open cans. Unfortunately, the return window closed in October. Now I am without a battery operated can opener and have this one that is worthless. I now have to find a battery powered can opener that will actually work. It is pretty, but that's about it.

I Love This Can Opener!!!!!! Grip is fabulous smooth cut around can One handed use!!! One of my better buys! No more having to lug my can opener onto the counter. I open my utensil drawer and there it is!!

I bought one of these Bangrui can openers ...oh I'm guessing about 6 or maybe 8 years ago. It has automatic stop and I have loved it all this time. But now it is wearing out and no longer takes the lid off the can. Just bought a new one. Am not very happy with it. Had trouble putting the cover back on it after putting batteries in it, cover doesn't fit real well. I don't like the new shape of it...the old one fit into my arthritic hand much better. And this one does not have automatic stop as my old one did. I also don't really care for the lid sticking on the can opener when it's done. Whatever is on the can ends up on my counter as well. I have to say, this is the first negative review I have ever wrote about anything. I love this product so much but am disappointed in this particular model. Therefore instead of the 5 I gave the last one, I will give a 3. Please bring back the features on the old can opener. So much easier to use.

This is a long-term review which some might find helpful. We bought this can opener over 3 years ago now, and have changed the battery once in that time. We use it often, and it opens all sizes of cans from a small tomato paste to a large can of stewed tomatoes. We had to learn how to seat it correctly at first, so be patient and don't assume it doesn't work properly. Once it stops cutting well, check the batteries. We thought it wasn't working anymore a year ago- but new batteries fixed everything... it still works like a charm and I'm happy to see they are still available!

I have arthritis in my hands and find manual openers difficult. This one works perfectly.
