Poly Welder Pro 200 Watt Plastic Repair Kit (Natural)

It worked great. Repaired my fuel tank on my zero turn. Saved me a good bit of money for a new fuel tank had knocked a big hole in it. First time I ever used one, followed the instructions and it did the job.

This is the best choice for poly welding. Its 200 watt iron is the way to go verses the cheaper, lower watt alternative poly welding irons sold by others. Especially welding thicker poly structures such as larger water tanks. Follow the package instructions completely and you'll be happy. Be sure to give iron plenty time to fully heat up, then test with practice piece. This is a quality built product! Did a great repair on my 5,000 gallon water storage tank.

Works very well for patching plastic. Just make sure you use the correct plastic for a repair. The included green sticks seem to be a lower strength plastic then the Coleman canoe I fixed. Ended up cutting slivers off the insulation retaining end panels to use for repairs.

Welder by trade. I had to repair a 100 gallon tank on my camper. This product save me $.Would recommend.

I used this kit to repair a small hole in my Wilderness Pungo kayak. After watching a video on uTube, I decided it would be best to go ahead and use the stainless steel mesh for reinforcement since the hole was actually on the end of the kayak that gets dragged on occasion. I was a bit nervous about 'melting' the kayak while adhering the mesh, but after I got over the initial fear of ruining my boat it was actually kind of fun. I put several layers of the poly on top of the mesh and I think it's better than new. I still have to sand off some of the rough spots, but I am very pleased with the result. I've now got a reinforced back end on my kayak and it's once again water-tight. At first I thought $129 was a pretty high price, but it's so much cheaper than buying a $900 kayak replacement! I'm totally happy. Great product.

I’m writing this for my husband. I heard his reaction after using this to fix a hole in our septic tank. He had the hole piece that had been previously cut out. It worked great and they welded the piece back on, repairing the hole. My son, who’s a metal welder and helped with the repair, thought it was ingenious!

Okay it's been a year and the welds on my kayak are still holding. This works better than I had hoped for.
