Retain old switch parts until job is done.
Needed this switch to replace one in an old angle poise lamp. Took photos when disconnecting the old switch. Fitted the new one and it works perfectly. I had to use the old switch cowling because the new one was to deep to expose enough of the threaded bar. Also trying to get my hand inside the shade to disconnect and reconnect required farming skills.😄

Replacement switch
Bought this to replace the switch of a 30 year old Anglepoise lamp. It isn’t an exact replacement but fits well enough to be usable. Working fine so far
