Good Value for Drummers
I wouldn't have thought of this until I saw a friend who had a set.First, these are good for suspended cymbal swells or low floor tom rolls. I put them on an old pair of sticks that I'm not using anymore. This is the best value because you don't have to put them on a new pair.Considering the high cost of most drum or instrument accessories, these are well worth the money. They fit well and appear to be durable for a long life of use. I have a pair of mallets for cymbals like most drummers do but these are an added benefit that actually add a different sound when using them. I'm happy with the purchase. And, I gave the second pair to a friend which was a bonus.

Nice bounce off hard surfaces
They really give the ability lay a beat on any surface. Just slightly reduces noise on the drums.. but l like them for the table and countertops..😎🥁

Drum Mutes?
The reason I bought these was to possibly help deter putting holes in my mesh practice heads. I have not had them long but I believe they will help tremendouslyThey fit the drum sticks well and are easy to install. They do change the balance a bit but it's tolerable and was expectedI don't see how these would mute a drum and I did not hear a difference on drums with regular heads on them. The cymbals don't have the initial "tink" to them but they still ring just as loud

Soft rubber tips serve a purpose
Since these are soft rubber, I don't get the tingy sound when they hit acoustic drums or symbols. I don't hear hardly any sound when I use them on my practice pad. As for striking the sticks with the tips on on any object, I'd be careful when trying this. You don't want to damage anything valuable. But, they mute sound really well. For all the drummers out there wanting a quitter playing environment, these soft rubber tips are the answer you need. They are great for a quiet playing space.

Debatable.
I really wanted to like these but I think it just depends what surface you have to work with. If you only have hard surfaces these help dampen the sound for sure. But if you have a soft surface these are useless imo. The soft surface will help mute the hit better and help with your rebound control / strengthen your hands better. I really wanted to like these but I find them not entirely useful. Good to have in the arsenal since they are so cheap but I rarely use them personally.

Silent Practice tips? I think not!
These little buggers fit nicely onto the tips of the drumsticks. That is all they do. They add a bit of bounce BUT they do NOT dampen drum sound at all. Zero. I bought them because of their claim to "dampener, "mute," aid "silent practice???" So, if you're buying them for quieter playing, save your money.

Pleasantly Surprised
I used these in a warm-up area before a couple of performances with an orchestra and not only are they relatively quiet, they work as well as any practice pad I have used. I like the weight for warming up because it really loosens up my hands.

I love them!!!
I play the tongue drum. These dampeners work well as long you don’t push the stick in them all the way. I keep the heads hollow and that makes all the difference in the volume of the sound…I don’t know how long they will last since I just received them recently, but they appear to be quite sturdy. They are a great buy and I believe they are worth every penny I spent on them. I was skeptical, but I love them.My neighbours will love them as well! :)

Not the best
To be honest, I wouldn't bother. They definitely don't mute the drums, they muffle your cymbals but if anything they make the drums louder as they give your stick more of a mallet effect. Tried them and then put them on the shelf

ottimi
