For bicycle generator light
If you are old enough to remember the vintage English 3-speed bicycles, popular in the 1950's and 60's in the U.S., some had 6v generator lights. They could be pretty bright if you were working up a sweat. But at a leisurely pace, not so much. The beauty of these LED light bulbs, is they are on or off. As soon as you start moving they are at full brightness. I'm not sure I can see all that much better, but motorists can certainly see me with the bright white light put out by these bulbs. Since they have so little amperage draw, I can run one in the tail light as well. Before, it was a dim bulb so not to pull too much current from the headlight. So, that's another win. Very cool.

Great little LEDs
These LEDs are bright white and exactly what I needed to replace the football lights in my cart. The only con I can think of is that care must be taken not to over tighten or the dome may separate from the base.

Works as advertised
Bulbs arrived quickly. Installed one bulb which worked perfectly. Light is bright and bulb fit into socket without any play or looseness. Have not used connectors that came with bulbs but will think of a way to utilize them as I don't have that many lights to replace. Definitely will buy again if need arises.

Bright Light and Good Color.
I used these in rebuilding two old military lanterns that I'd repaired and converted to 6V rechargeable batteries. They put off good light with vivid color.

LED for model trains.
I use these in my model trains. No heat generated like incandescent bulbs so so chance of plastic melting/ warping. They work great at 16Vac...

Absolute Garbage! PLEASE Do not waste your time buying these
I ordered these, ignoring the feedback, thinking I may have better luck. No chance, they are a complete waste of time and money. Somehow, I inadvertently placed two orders of these and tested 20 bulbs. ZERO functioned. Should be a simple thing, an LED with resistor to limit the current to ~20 mA, depending on the desired voltage the replacement light was called for. In my case 6V. It's highly possible the polarity is wrong for the LEDs, but additionally the LED isn't attached to the steel base sufficiently to prevent it from twisting apart from the base. This, of course, separates the resistor's connection to the positive contact in the bottom of the base. Poor design, potentially incorrect construction.

No brighter than original bulb
I was hoping going to the LED bulb it would be brighter than the original bulb that came with this battery powered boat light. To no avail so I was a little disappointed and left the original in.
