Zip-o-gage - Zipper Pull Thermometer for Jacket, Parka, or Backpack | Mini Outdoor Keychain Thermometer

I bought several of these for Christmas gifts. Everyone liked them. They were all the same temperature as my house thermometer, so I feel that they are accurate. They seem made of sturdy plastic on the outside and hopefully they won’t break. The item is small so the temperature marks are a bit harder to see. If you wear readers you might have a hard time seeing the temperature. Wind chill chart is fun but I’m not sure how I’d measure the wind speed while I’m outside. Overall a great little thermometer and I would definitely buy them again.

These are small and very neat. When hiking it is too easy to carry too much gear and this is a small useful tool.

It’s great to put on your coat zipper. Just wish the back paper/scale backing was laminated. Or better laminated. That said, I’ve had it out in some light snow and HEAVY sleet and rain. Never had an issue. So functionally- no complaints. If there was a 4.5, that would be it. But I have been in weather exposure in older versions of this that did not survive. Not taking those into account as they are from 20 years ago.

Product is impossible to read unless you hold it perfectly. When you do manage to read it it is off by ten degrees or more. Unfortunately this is non returnable although given the quality I doubt it actually contains a hazmat. Edit: after writing this review the manufactures customer service reached out to offer me a refund. They confirmed it does not contain mercury and was flagged as hazmat by Amazon for some reason

This is for ONE thermometer. The first picture shows front and back at same time which implies you are buying two. Photos show bright white tag and these are not at all. The lower contrast makes the small numbers hard to read. This is the type of thermometer you have to angle back and forth until you can see level clearly. Even then, you can only read the value to about 5 degress F since the scale is tiny. Ring is fine and plastic should hold up for a season or two. Room temperature shown was accurate. If you are under 40 or wear reading glasses/bifocals it would work okay.

Perfect for hanging off our backpack. It's too small to read exact temps, but we understood that prior to ordering - we're not interested in an exact temperature, just a general idea.

Had one of these forever and a day ago on my favorite jacket, such a handy camp gadget. The Acrylic face shield can take a beating, but the back panel with the wind chill chart is just a snap in panel. Still it's a great zipper pull on basically any cold weather gear. And I wish I had picked this up a couple years ago when it was 100+°F every day for three months. Heat sneaks up on you just as bad as cold.

I keep this thermometer clipped to my backpack so I can get a general idea of what the temp is when hiking or camping. I can’t say whether this thermometer is spot on due to the overall design, but I’m confident it gives me a generally accurate reading working a couple of degrees either way. The size does make it a little harder to read, but it’s definitely usable and worth keeping clipped on my backpack.

La verdad que es bonito o chulo para colgarlo en la creamallera de la chaqueta, pero ahí queda todo Los números - rangos de temperatura son minúsculos y aún teniendo buena vista cuesta de leer. Por otra parte la parte trasera con las referencias de temperatura - viento, los números son más pequeños aún, y es una "tablilla" plastificada encajada con la parte delantera, que claramente da signos de que no va a durar mucho. Ahórrate el dinero, es mi opinión.

Be aware it is quite small, so if you want pinpoint accuracy you won't get it. But it is cheap, and works.

Is a tad expensive for what it is, however it’s very accurate and works well, not really worth £10 but you do get quality I guess

この子の武器はこの可愛いデザインと軽量さ。Zip-o-gageというだけあって服のファスナー等にぶら下げるアクセサリーを念頭に置いたアイテム。 温度表示の精度は期待できないけれど、登山中の寒暖差は充分わかります。 ±１度～２度ズレてる！というレビューを散見するけれど精度に拘るならもっと良いものはたくさんありますよ。
