Thanks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Well for Making Leather Tap-Off Patterns *by D***Y on September 2, 2026* I purchased these clear PET sheets to make tap-offs for my leatherwork. A tap-off is a reusable pattern used to transfer a design onto damp, cased leather. The design is created on the plastic sheet, positioned over the leather, and then rubbed or pressed so the pattern transfers onto the surface before carving and tooling. These sheets were easy to cut with my Cricut Maker, and the cuts came out clean enough for the designs I needed. The material also stayed in place well while I worked, which helped keep the pattern aligned and prevented the design from shifting during the transfer process. Being clear made it easier to see the leather underneath and position everything accurately. My main complaint is that I wish the material held up better to the repeated rubbing and pressure required to transfer a design. It works, but I am unsure how many times each tap-off will remain usable before showing wear or losing detail. Overall, these sheets did what I needed them to do and were easy to work with.
