Faulty Purchase
I am using Evil Energy for most of my fuel line setup on chevy 350 blueprint with a holley sniper EFI. Hoped to have this work as well as the rest of the products i’ve bought from them and unfortunately it did not work as hoped for. wired it up. finished the rest of the setup and began to prime when i found that it was not delivering fuel. It primed electronically but just wasn’t delivering pressure. I took the line off before the pump connector and siphoned the line to make sure I didn’t mess something else up but it immediately started siphoning. Disappointed because it was a great price for a pump that fit my specs and now am stuck with buying the 200 dollar holley pump.

Buy the bracket to mount it if not included
Great pumpAnd much quieter than the other cheap Amazon ones. Also it’s twice as heavy as the others . Buy their bracket to mount it for ease as some listings it’s not included . This is my go to pump for all ls swaps now

Wrong sized nut, poor instructions and reviews make me belatedly nervous.
Re: Evil Energy 044 Fuel Pump - Only one correct sized electric terminal nut of two supplied with the pump actually fit; S/B M4-0.7 and M5-0.8.I haven't run the unit yet, but some of the quality reviews combine with lack of attention to every detail is now belatedly making me anxious. With regard to poor instructions mentioned by some reviewers, I noted for example the requirement for two o-rings for the connecting ORB AN fittings. Since that type of fitting always has one rubber o-ring, does that instruction mean the addition of a supplied copper closest to the pump for a total of two, or to use of one rubber and two copper. Since I preferred more thread depth, I assumed one copper closest to the pump rather than two copper o-rings, plus the standard rubber o-ring.Off to the hardware store to purchase the missing correct sized nut.

Delivered as mentioned, i needed the machine running
Simple replacement, but I haven't tried these yet, this type of pump does not like fuel left in it, in my case non ethanol fuel over the winter (3 months) it doesn't work! I am on my 5th pump in five years.

Inlet fitting is 10an?!
Pump looks good out the box, but a couple of things to be aware of: the inlet is 10AN fitting, which is absolutely too big for my set up, and finding the correct adapter is a bit difficult. So far I've spent an extra $30 just trying to find an adapter to 6AN fittings so I can hook it up and still don't have the right fitting.y project is on hold until I can figure out how to connect this pump to my fuel system. Also, the nuts for positive and negative didn't fit, I found one to fit positive, and tried to solder the negative to the post, not sure if it works yet because I can't hook up my fuel line without the adapter. So unless you decide to use 10AN fuel lines be prepared to blow extra money, and good luck finding the correct nut for the negative post.
