This compact charger is great, fast at charging (Charged mine for dead to full In 6-8 hours). The amount of different modes makes it very versatile and handy for different uses. I would love to try out the Repair feature, however I don’t have a use for it but it does seem to be a very worthy feature for the price. If you connect the positive and negative grounds wrong way round you don’t need to fear as the charger is designed to refuse to charger or do anything which reduces the risk of a explosion or short circuit. One issue I had which was bit annoying, is for whatever reason the modes kept getting changed every few minutes on its own and I don’t know if it was due to the cold or what but I had to change it a few times, but eventually it stopped which was good. Out of the 3 times I charged a battery it only happened that one day so it’s nothing to worry about. Ps. If you’re confused what mode you’re supposed to use, it’s simple. It’s the Vehicle Mode, if you had a AGM battery you would know. (It won’t harm it if you by accident charge it on that mode but keep in mind your battery won’t actually be charged from what I noticed) Highly Recommened

Instructions are a little vague, so initially afraid to leave it on as seemed to be charging high amps. Now realised it starts high amps and charge rate falls according to battery status. The fan runs on high amps, then switches off as battery charges. Yes you can leave this connected to a battery to optimise as it completely switches off (fan too) when battery Is fully charged, and reads (off). I've left this in place on my untaxed vehicle for over a week. It will charge again if the battery voltage drops

Arrived on time. Opened it and thought hmm but was surprised - diff setings for diff vehicles. Easy to use and charged my battery in under 3 hrs. Put the battery back on car and it turned over first time. This is a temperemental battery that does not like cold nights so expected it to take longer to charge and was surprised when it turned itself off when it was done. Handy size, plastic cover - and has a fan. It did what it was bought for so am very happy with it. I had an old charger so thought it was time for an upgrade and i am surprised at what you can do with it - it has a repair option !! Overall a good purchase!!

Due to COVID, the car (2017 plate) wasn’t being used and the cold weather resulted in the car’s app telling me the battery was critical. Found this for a reasonable price (could’ve been cheaper in my eyes), got it delivered quickly and had it on charge within a few minutes of unpacking it. There’s nothing to it. You just plug it in, connect it (negative first) and leave it alone. It alters the charge, detects if it’s cold, detects if it’s a motorbike or car, detects if it needs a complete refresh or just a charge. Too simple. I love tech and like fiddling with the settings, but this was a little bit of a let down for me, but in a good way as it fixed my battery, completely. No £100 replacement needed! Winner.

Although my car is less than three years old, the battery was showing as having a low charge. The trouble is I don’t do a lot of travelling as I am retired. Even less now with the pandemic. Any trips I do are only short hops. So the poor battery was getting enough charge. I haven’t needed a battery charger for a long time and the one I had was old and rusted. So I decided it was time for a new one. This Buddygo one looked okay, and so I ordered it. It arrives in a proper retail box with everything tightly packed inside. I say everything, but it's just the charger unit and some instructions. It has all the modern protections against being damaged should you do something wrong. It’s still worth taking care that you connect it correctly. I connected up the car battery and left it overnight. The following morning the car’s computer was saying that the battery was now okay. Job done. That’s what I like, nice and straight forward. There are other functions that I haven’t tried as I have no need to, but it’s nice to know they are there if I do. Overall, an easy to use car battery charger. I hope that helps.

I have an intelligent charger which is ideal for batteries with a very low capacity left in them but the 110 battery from my Boxster had gone utterly dead due to lack of use of the car. I read some reviews to find a more powerful Amperage charger as experience tells me sometimes a battery need a bit of kick up the rear to get charging. Bought this based on reviews, it was delivered next day via Prime and unpacked and hooked up to the battery. It immediately went to PULSE REPAIR mode where it provides a good amperage pulsed charge to restore the battery. this can take up to 18hrs but had mine up to 80% capacity within 12 hours. Finished off with trickle charge and is now on maintenance trickle charge for another day just to give it the bet chance of lasting a while back on the car. the charger is fan cooled so makes a gentle thrum as it goes about its business so make sure the vents are clear. I have a smaller 063 battery that has been dormant for a good couple of months which I am going to test on it next. I recommend this charger based on its functions, efficacy and price.

Had mine several years now use on my Merc 5.5 And has been a true asset as loads of electric in this car so needs to trickle when not used regularly and had no issues so far well worth the price in my opinion

Einfache Handhabung und hat mir den Kauf einer neuen KFZ-Batterie erspart. Sehr empfehlenswert. Nur ein Hinweis: Erst dachte ich, dass nur ein amerikanischer Stecker verbaut ist. War etwas versteckt.

Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Da auch Markengeräte oft nur noch eine begrenzte Haltbarkeit haben, eine gute Alternative. Langzeittest steht noch aus.

Was soll ich mit einem Gerät, dass einen UK Stecker hat.Stand leider auch nichts in der Beschreibung des Artikels. Passt nicht in meine Steckdose. Also nochmal zusätzliche Kosten für einen Adapter
