5.6 Litre Ultrasonic Humidifier & Aroma Diffuser with Cold & Warm Mist, LED Display, Humidity Sensor, Timer, Auto Shut-Off and 360° Dual Mist Output

Bought this after wanting a humidifier for a long time. My partners mother actually bought before me which we borrowed when we caught a cold. Overnight we both felt amazing after a week of feeling crap and have since bought the exact same model. We feel like we slept better, our skin is more hydrated (Both moisturiser addicts but reduced use dramatically when waking up with more hydrated skin) and our hair is in better condition, and the house plants also seem to benefit! This product hold enough water for 2 nights (7-8hrs) on a moderate/high setting and almost a week on a lower setting, though would recommend changing the water regularly. The addition of the essential oil tray means we can add oils to suit our mood and fragrance the room (lavender lovely whilst sleeping, eucalyptus and tea tree when we were ill etc). Very easy to use, refill and clean - our previous unit had been left partially filled and Unused and had developed a few mildew-ey spots, but hot water, soap (and disinfectant just to be sure) and a dishbrush got rid and the unit looked brand new and functioned perfectly once again. The product is near silent except for an almost inaudible whirr and the occasional bubbling sound but this proves to be perfectly relaxing to drift off to sleep with. The cool blue LED looks great and can be turned off for nighttime. The vapour is cold as expected, but I will be cautious of keeping the room well ventilated in between uses. TL;DR love it, have recommended to others and will but again if this ever breaks down

I've had this for about a month now and I can't believe I didn't buy a humidifier earlier. Using it on max setting usually lasts a full 8-9 hour sleep and I feel like it does help with chapped lips when it's cold. The noise is kind of like a minor hum which is peaceful to sleep to. One thing I wasn't prepared for was the cleaning. I didn't use it daily but it got a bit dirty inside. I followed the steps from other reviewers (diluted bleach) which did help but the actual plastic body of the humidifier was harder to clean - I eventually used a small old rag and then shook it like a cocktail. Helped remove any muck inside. All in all, great all round humidifier. Little hard to clean but I think most humidifiers would be

To be honest I would be giving it 5 stars if it wasn't for the unpleasant smell it developed after about 10 days of use. I have to say that the item itself is great, the mist it produces is very helpful, I found it I was sleeping better and so did my 3 year old, no more coughing in the middle of the night. However even after washing the unit as recommended in the instructions (adding vinegar and leaving for 20 mins, rinsing well afterwards) the main water container still had the same smell. The water filter smells the same exact way, so I thought it was the cause of the smell, I am still not sure. I washed the water container again with soapy water and the smell came back minutes after it was left to dry. I don't want to return it as I like everything else about it. My concern is the smell will start to effect the air in the room, as it hasn't yet. The only other minor issue is how bright the light is on the power button. I had to use blue tac to block it as it was extremely bright. If that could be fixed for the future I am sure the seller / manufacturer would only win here. Washing and using it is very simple. The sound it produces when on is noticeable but I find it soothing and it actually helps me fall asleep, unlike the previous humidifier we had by another brand which made a high pitch buzzing noise that even though reasonably quiet drove me crazy and I couldn't settle for long. I also think it would be good overall perhaps if it was possible to open the main water container for emptying / washing purposes and drying it better as there is no way you can get in to dry it on the inside. I bought this to boost the humidity level in a small room. Used in conjunction with an Inkbird humidity controller it works very well. I leave the humidifier set to maximum setting and its plugged into the Inkbird so only cuts in when needed. Nice big reservoir so it lasts well between fill ups. I was vaguely concerned by comments about the base getting filled with water, but now I have it, I see that this is necessary as the water tank lifts off the base for refilling and has a small valve which allows water to flow into the vapour chamber in the base when the tank is back on the base - the vapour then comes up through a chimney in the centre of the tank and can be directed by rotating the white cap on the top of the tank. Its been running for a few weeks now and very impressed. Its necessary to clean the tank every now and bags in to prevent algae growth, however this is really just van routine maintenance thing - weak bleach solution does it nicely - just make sure to rinse it well before using it to create vapour! Not used it with any sort of scented oils etc. So unable to comment. Would definitely recommend it and would buy it again.

- - - - - - - - - - Updated review (29th July 2018) EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRODUCT -- I STRONGLY URGE PEOPLE NOT TO LEAVE THIS IN A CHILD'S BEDROOM -- FIRE AND ELECTROCUTION HAZARD! I just woke up at 4 AM to the sound of continuous dripping, which at first I thought was an old bottle of floor cleaner I used the day prior, but after moving it from my desk along with a few other things a torrent of water flooded out from beneath the humidifier soaking everything on my desk and cascading down onto the floor below! After turning the humidifier off (the night light stays on for a few seconds), and cleaning up as much water as I could, I unplugged the unit and took it downstairs to my kitchen where it leaked all over my PJ's and the countertop. Only then did I notice where it was leaking from -- internally via the socket!! Pretty foolish of me to have left it still plugged in whilst I was mopping up the water... I don't know how the fault happened, but it's possible the unreplaceable rubber seal where the soundwaves emit either had a defect or started to perish after just 2-3 months of ownership. Not happy as I fully invested in this product by purchasing it at full price, getting 3 replacement filters and a box of oils to use. I won't be purchasing another of these units, at least not in their current state of design and manufacturing. Edit: After contacting ProBreeze they gave me the option of a replacement humidifier, or a refund which I graciously accepted. However, I got stuck with the costly unused filters. The customer service is good, but I would check other reviews as time passes as I have a feeling I won't be the only one with issues. - - - - - - - - - - Original review (21st May 2018) Very pleased with this humidifier. I don't have anything further to add that's already been mentioned by other reviewers. However, a few criticisms are as follows: 1. When turning the main blue water tank upside down some water can run out from the base. Also, whilst upside down the plastic handle gets in the way of it being laid down completely flat, this puts increased pressure on the handle which could cause it to possibly crack or break over time. So far I've been using a kitchen towel to balance the container and support the weight that's applied to the handle when adding water. 2. The LED switch is easy to turn On, but much harder to turn Off -- you really have to press it in on my machine; it's a minor niggle as I rarely use the light, but one nonetheless. 3. The rotary dial to increase and decrease the water flow isn't in tune with the markings on the machine. It's easy to correct the dimple by aligning it with the On and Off printed markings, but when doing so the dial can turn a full 90 degrees past the "Max" printed on the machine; more circles should have printed between On and Max. This dial also easily falls off and seems a little dangerous if you needed to turn the machine off in a hurry. I have no other concerns as of yet, the machine is very good. The added diffuser tray is excellent. There's a 12 month warranty, should that ever be required, and the staff over at Pro Breeze were very helpful in answering a question I had pre-sale.

I ordered this item after lots of hunting around, after reading the reviews I thought I was on to a winner, I noticed one review commenting upon the humidity and temprature sensors not being true, but at this point i thought that's just one review and placed the order. So the package arrived and the product was set up, I will say it cant really be faulted for the price bracket .. however one big negative factor, the humidity and temp sensor!. It simply does not do an accurate job, I have two hygro devices running around it changing areas that tell me totally different values to the actual humidifier, both the hygrometers reading the same give or take at 40% RH and around 25degrees, the machine at this point stating its 77%RH and hardly works on auto ( the only reason I paid this price) I've had it running well on auto for around three days however it's now not really doing much, one day I came home to a machine still full, clear to say it hadn't kicked in throughout the whole day, I've tried all troubleshooting, I have to just put it down to this sensor being in accurate and or temperamental It's fair to say this machine is a good quality machine that works to good standard, but the reason this machine was purchased was the reviews, price and ultimatly the AUTO function, unfortunatly it just is not consistant nor precise enough. I've sheduled the return and sought another product.

After a few weeks' use I really can't fault this product. Being 3.8L it is physically large, so make sure that's what you want before buying. The advantage of alarge product is that you can go a long time without needing to refill it. In fact, I've just refilled it for the first time, which was a painless process. The rate at which it pumps out moisture is most impressive and easily adjustable over a wide range. Adjusting the direction is as simple as turning the spout. What criticism can I give? Well, none that doesn't apply to all similar products really. Some of the fragrance oils (purchased independently - not part of the product) can be a bit faint. You do have to have a supply of cotton pads on hand for the oils, but they're cheap enough and easy to find. The vapours *might* not fill anything bigger than a mid-sized bedroom. What tends to happen is the visible clouds of water vapour fall no more than 1.5m from the unit. Evaporation and diffusion will eventually take the fully vaporised (and by then invisible) water a further distance but without specialist knowledge I'm not sure how even the distribution will be in a large room. Whilst quiet, these devices are a long way from silent when compared to a candle. You wouldn't want it on in your bedroom all night. But all electronic vaporisers are going to have these issues, so don't let that put you off choosing this one. Definitely recommended. --Edit Jan 2019-- After a year's use, this product is still running like a dream. You do need to keep it clean on the inside. I find I have to add a little dilute bleach from time to time to remove the scum. But that's not a big deal. I would still buy this product again and still recommend it with 5 stars.

I have asthma, but control it well. And then we had a multi fuel stove installed...Within a couple of hours I was coughing and spluttering and starting to feel uncomfortable. Didn't give it a thought that the dry air of the Woodburner would kick off the asthma. After a day's research and reading reviews here on this product, decided to give it a go. Fantastic results and it brought immediate relief, thank goodness. My husband also commented that he enjoyed the cooling mist this unit brings and actually made his throat much more comfortable as well. Lots of different power settings and very easy to use and fill. As a rough guess our sitting room (old cottage) is approx 12' x 15' and this humidifier copes beautifully. Excellent buy and would totally recommend. So glad I found it!
