Fungus Gnats GONE!
Had a nightmare fungus gnat infestation, and in 4 weeks, not one gnat. An amazing product with no poison.

Finally something got rid of my fungus gnats
I tried a bunch of stuff that didn’t work like sticky traps, cinnamon, mosquito bits, letting the soil get/stay dry, and the only thing that has worked is these nematodes. Cant believe how simple, easy, and quickly these got the problem under control. I just include a few little beads of them in the soil when I repot or sprinkle some and mix it into the top of the soil of an existing pot and all is well in my plant world now. Thanks for a good product

Didn't work, not alive
I got these to control thrips and fungus gnats. It does not work for either one. After multiple applications over several weeks, the numbers are not reduced, there are still new thrips emerging from the soil unharmed. I don't think there were any live nematodes in this, maybe it got too hot, maybe it was too old, I don't know, but there was nothing alive here. They did absolutely nothing. All the bugs they supposedly target are thriving after weeks of repeated application and careful nurturing of the soil so as not to harm the nematodes. Stopped by to write the review because I am back here searching for something that actually works, because these codes do not seem to be alive upon arrival. PS, I've been keeping the open container in the fridge, the beads are still moist, everything appears normal except there's nothing alive to infect, or so it appears. This is an indoor and controlled environment, I don't think they're alive.

Getting Rid of Gnats: My Saga
The nematodes work as part of a multi-step attack on those annoying fungus gnats. It has to be reapplied, which is fine, and takes months to really work well. But it eventually does, especially with other remedies I will explain. I had tried literally everything, every tip, trick, potion, oil, repotting dozens of plants a couple times (not fun), pebbles along the top of the soil, even baking soil in the oven to a certain temperature. The bake was early on a few years ago and my house smelled like a campfire. Yeah, I had used a soil with too much wood product. Learned more about soil after that lol. So tried the nematodes and have reapplied and followed directions. They lessened and it took many months, but I still considered it a win. After decades of houseplants with never EVER having gnats, these fungus gnats now seemed unavoidable and I couldn’t figure out how to finally be rid of them. This product helped, along with bottom watering those plants that respond well to that type of watering. Using the nematodes, over time, has lessened the gnats. Adding both yellow sticky traps and a couple socket bug zappers (small that plug in at the electrical socket - bought a pair of zappers inexpensively along with the yellow sticky traps here on Amazon) have made the gnats ALMOST gone. All three have worked the best, together. At this point, the sticky traps gauge if gnats missed being stopped by the nematodes and bug zappers. If I have gone weeks with a clean yellow trap, I consider that success. They used to literally be loaded with gnats. Eww. Now I can see a couple gnats a month on the yellow traps. Some plants’ traps have none. The one for the money tree in the photo now catches more cat fur as there aren’t many gnats.😂 So I’d say this nematode product does work if used as directed and one allows lots of time. The other added items, for me, seemed to help a lot. Using any of the three alone likely won’t make a huge change (from my experience). This is why I rated 4 stars, as it could not eradicate them alone but do as part of a plan! Good luck!

Results as promised.
We developed a fungus gnat infestation after bringing a few plants in this fall. They happily reproduced and colonized all of the other potted plants in the house. I couldn't even look at my computer screen or phone without getting one in my face. We (and our guests) put up with it for months. We dosed each and every plant in the house and followed the application and watering directions on the label, and poof! It took three days... didn't see another gnat for a month. The plants are happy and healthy and I'm pleased to be writing this in the warm glow of a bug-free screen.

Amazing!
This is incredible! It saved three of my dying, contaminated plants! I was about to give up and throw them away, but I'm so glad I found this product! I just wish it came separated into smaller containers so I could use it longer.

Gnats be gone
Helped on killing a lot of the gnats. I would definitely add another does next time. Plus adding silica to your soil helps in this process.
