I enjoy that it is easy to use. I also enjoyed the low price. The only thing I don't like is the price of additional test strips. The kit only has 10 test strips and 10 lancets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must for anyone on a keto diet. *by L***R on July 29, 2026* This is a must for anyone on a keto diet. Very accurate and easy to use. ### ⭐ Not worth the money *by C***E on March 10, 2026* Make sure you buy a product that has more than just 10 test strips and lancets. I received this kit on March 2. After setting it up, which took me over an hour, it used 2 strips right off the bat. And that was per instructions. They do not give you extra strips or lancets for that. Than another strip was used to test my own blood. Several of the strips gave me an error code: E-4, which meant contaminated strip. So they were useless. And they were straight out of the container! How would they get contaminated? Than several other times it gave an error code: E-5, which means not enough blood sample! WTH! The monitor starts it's countdown to measure your ketones as soon as you touch the strip which does not give you enough time to get enough blood onto the strip. Therefore, it takes off to countdown, and then gives you an error code and no keto measured, which in turn renders that strip useless! So, needless to say, I got to use only a couple of strips that actually measured my ketones. Now I am completely out of strips making the KetoTrak monitor useless to me. If you are not new to using these kinds of monitors for your ketones than it probably is easy for you to figure out how to use them. BUT if you are new, like I am, you will have to read the full User's Manual or you will get lost and not use the monitor correctly resulting in false keto measurements. It took me over an hour to read through it and familiarize myself with the monitor and how to use it. You cannot use the "quick start guide" pamphlet because it is hard to figure out what is going on...even how to get the thing to turn on was a major research! I suggest if you are serious about measuring your ketones to find a better monitor and one that sends more strips and lancets so that you won't run out using them on just the initial setup. (Which you have to do on this gadget every time you buy new strips, you have to recode and all that).
