Works Wonders!
I had previously bought a cheaper box-style usb adapter/splitter with 4 ports here on Amazon, and it was practically useless! I got my money back and bought this which cost twice as much, but you get what you pay for! I like this style with individual cables for each usb port. It seems to work better. I am SO happy with this because my keyboard is not functioning right on my laptop, so I had to get a wired keyboard(from Amazon), and since the box-style usb adapter/splitter wouldn’t even accommodate my wireless mouse dongle, I had to buy a wired mouse. I prefer using my wireless mouse though and now I can use the usb adapter/splitter for my wired keyboard, and cooling pad for my laptop and keep the wireless mouse dongle and usb adapter/splitter in the only two usb ports on my laptop. YAY! I am SO happy!

Does the trick expansion-wise.
It does what exactly it claims it does a provides adequate power to devices that requires its (I have it expanding ports from an additional usb hub vs buying a larger one). If you can tolerate it bulky presence when used it definitely expands one usb port to multiple.

Bought two, one has issues.
I bought these to split power for some small micro processors and to provide power to two active amps for my MLA30+ loops. First one worked great. Second one that I deployed recently triggered usb power port alarms when plugging into one of the four sockets. Too late to return. I'm only drawing 100 ma on the good sockets total.Company reached out to me and sent a replacement. I'm sorry it took so long to put this edit in, I thought I had.Upgraded to 5 stars.

Too many devices
I have lots of devices, and not enough places to plug in.I have a battery that is charged from a solar cell. It only has 2 usb plug ins. But I have lots of devices I wanted to charge.This splitter makes it so easy. It works exactly how I need it to work.Thank you!
