It’s simple to use: just pour it into the rinse aid compartment of your dishwasher (usually on the door). The 23 oz bottle lasts a long time – up to 225 washes as they claim, which sounds about right because I only have to refill it every month or two with regular use. You can usually adjust the dispense setting if you need more or less, but I keep it at the default and it works great. One thing I appreciate is that it’s basically hands-off once you fill it; the dishwasher releases a bit during the rinse cycle automatically. I literally see the water beading and sliding off the dishes because of it, so they dry faster (even when I use the no-heat eco dry setting, which is impressive).
