Champion Traps and Targets Pistol Range Bag

This is my first range bag for a new shooter. Keep that in mind.This range bag works just as described. Here is my breakdown.The Main Compartment:Just as you would expect, there is a nice divider in the middle (can be moved off to the side if need be). There is plenty of room to put whatever you might need in there. I can fit up to 400 rds of .45 Auto, 400 rds of 9mm Luger, and 400 rds of .22 LR off to one side. On top of the ammo I place my Howard Light Impact muffs, my range glasses (in a case) and my hat (folded in the back). On the other side I have a pouch that holds up to 6 mags and a UpLULA universal loader, my Otis Tactical cleaning kit, my belt, a double mag holster and Blackhawk pistol holster.The Side Pockets:To one side I can fit a staple gun with extra staples and a roll of masking tape. On the other side I keep a pair of binoculars and lens wipes.The Front Pocket:This is just a pocket to put miscellaneous things in. I have hand wipes, markers, ziplock bags, a silicone cloth, and an extra gun lock tossed in there.The front pocket, being that it is not meant to (out of the box) hold a handgun is lacking. The Front pocket could have a compartmentalized set-up to it that would keep a user more organized than it currently does. Maybe some magazine pockets or a tool pouch. All that you get is an elastic strap on top of a loose mesh pocket.The Rear Pocket and Pistol Pouch:The pocket to the rear of the bag is primarily meant for the handgun of your choice. The Pistol pouch provided is OK. I wouldn't consider it a rug because it doesn't lay flat when opened (kinda bums me out). The pouch provided is very plush/protective and doesn't feel too cheap, Don't expect to get a super quality add on with the bag however because it is just that (an add on). Other than the pouch, the rear pocket is just a holder for the pouch, there is no additional organization at all.To review, here are the Pros and Cons:Pros- Large bag- holds much more weight than expected- Main Compartment stores a lot- side pockets are a perfect fit for what I describedCons- no additional organization or storage- pistol "rug" could be better- doesn't have any particular "wow factor"Overall, this is a decent range bag. I feel that, for what it costs, there should be a few more features built into this bag. I will continue to use this bag without complaints while I look for a more comprehensive range bag. As I mentioned above, this is my first bag and I bought this from Amazon for about $30. I wouldn't have paid more for it personally. Now that I know what I want and need, I will be able to gauge other range bags accordingly.Check out my pictures above!

A little on the expensive side compared to some other bags of similar size but it works nice seems to be made on good materials and I really like the lockable gun pouch. On the other side of the bag I also like the cargo net that holds my magazines and a few other items. The seller, Explore Products, shipped the item well early and gave excellent service. The Champion Bag was a wonderful surprise. It had more features than shown in the Amazon ad. It is perfect for my needs and I can't say "for the price" because it would be worth it at twice the price!The bag has two movable dividers in the main area. One of which can be slid down to form a rigid bottom for the bag. One of the large side pockets has a mesh liner that is perfect for storing very small items, such as Howard Leight ear plugs (the best) etc. And yes I even like the orange zipper tabs, they add a splash of color. I will be ordering an extra pistol mat directly from the seller as the one that comes with the bag is of high quality. dm

This bag has met all my expectations without having to spend $$$$. I am at the range every week and it easily carries all of my ammo, safety gear, targets, small tool pouch and several pistols. I am considering buying a second one to keep as an extra.

Nice roomy bag holds pistol and targets and anything else I need, love the orange zipper pulls makes it really easy to find on the dark floor of the gun range....Very reasonable price and really happy with this bag. Lots of storage. You can't go wrong with this one.

This is a nice, sturdy bag. Plenty of room for most equipment, and the gun rug that comes with it fit my S&W SVE just fine.The only minor complaint that I have is that the base of the bag sags just a bit if you don't distribute the weight of ammo properly.
