No from Vermont. It is an organic based formula.

Is the Iron from food source like Beet powder or is it just regular Iron added to whole food source?

The iron is from organic food sources and superfoods such as organic spinach and blueberry. It has tons of great organic extracts and it also contains the vitamins necessary for iron absorbtion (vitamins E C B12 and folate) I have tried tons of iron pills and these are the only ones that works for me. Hope this helps

how large is the pill? Is it round or long?

Oblong tablet, ~20mm (3/4") x 8mm x 6mm. I think it is fairly large and not fun to swallow, but should not be a problem if you are used to swallowing large brown vitamin tablets.

How much iron is in this product?

It has 9mg of iron per tablet (50% DV). Also 30mg of vitamin C, 15 IU vitamin E, 800 mcg folate, 30 mcg B12, 5mg Magnesium, and 5mg zinc. Also herbs and probiotics. I like them :)
