I love this fire glass! The color is beautiful, the sparkle is on point, the shapes are fun & it only took 1 10lb bag to fill up my fire pit. I had very little shards/dust in the bottom of the bag.

I purchased the 1/2” size and followed instructions to wash the glass first. We put the glass in a bucket and poured water in then because we have hard water, and it could make calcium spost, but we did a final rinse with bottled water. ( we have a reverse osmosis system, so that is the water we used ). We have not used this with fire yet, so we cannot comment on whether it snaps when fire hits it.

These gems are GREAT! Highly reflective and it was more than enough to cover my fireplace. The only reason for four stars is that they NEED to be rinsed off, they arrive dusty and if you do not rinse them, they will not shine. It is no big deal at all, but should be in the place card so the consumer is aware they need to rinse them to get the full effect! Pros: highly reflective, beautiful color, holds heat very well. Cons: needs to be rinsed prior to use in order to get the full reflection on each piece! I highly recommend these gems!

I bought more of these stones to add to my fireplace. I need a little more diversity of color. These stones are beautiful and they are beautiful whether they’re lit up by a flame or during the day.
