ETA: 6/26/22Earlier this week I tried to get the Bluetooth side of this thing to work. No luck at all. I don't know what the problem is but could never get it into discover mode. Maybe I am doing something wrong but nothing real obvious and the Bluetooth app in Windows says it's in discover mode but it doesn't appear to ever actually do so.I bought this to use in situations where I need Wi-Fi but the computer doesn't have it. I've only used it a few times since I got it and it works pretty well. I have not tried the Bluetooth side of it since I've not needed it.The listing for this product claims that no driver is needed. That's not entirely true. The USB dongle actually has what appears to be a driver loaded on it that has to be installed first.I have only used it on a Windows 10 machine so I don't know if it'll work on anything else but so far it is done what I needed it to do. And at a really decent price too.

I have win 10 on laptop. laptop has built in wifi but no Bluetooth. Thought I buy this USB dongle to cover all bases. Wifi installed fine but on board software for Bluetooth kept getting error during install. Showed error in device mgr. Did win up dates, tried other Bluetooth drivers for my laptop with no help. I have had Bluetooth working in the past with another dongle(can't find that one). Shame the main reason I bought it was for Bluetooth connectivity. If you need wifi then buy, if for Bluetooth forgot it.

I've ordered three of these WIFI Adapters for older Dell Laptops running Win 10 systems.Best to forget the included instructions & software & let Windows update the best drivers.Just plug dongle in spare USB port and Windows will find the best drivers.YOU MAY HAVE TO RESTART SEVERAL TIMES …My internet speed to AT&T Servers increased From 20 mbps up / 18 mbps down To 118 mbps up 89 mbps down.I do have Uverse fiber optic service delivered to my premise.I am a very happy customer!!

Personally, I would of went with a wifi card but my GPU is too big so I went with the adapter. It's great and all, but when I turn on my computer, it takes a while to connect to my Wi-Fi. It takes maybe 2 minutes which is annoying to me. Then there is another issue where it doesn't connect until I remove it from the USB port. But you get what you pay for.
