Camelio CAM740 Personalization Kit

My granddaughter was always using Kindle Fire. She now has her Camelio Tablet and it keeps her occupied for hours . I also purchased the Hello Kitty accessory pack and it brings even more life to the tablet.... She LOVES her tablet , takes it with her wherever she goes ... Great choice I made for her !!!

We received two of these, one for each of my sons as Christmas gifts for 2013. The original two were purchased from Costco. Within just a month, the charging connection on both of these failed. The connection on the inside of the tablet became loose and we couldn't get them to connect and charge and had to return both to Costco. We liked the overall tablet and had hoped that we just had a bad couple so ordered another two here on Amazon. First replacement lasted 5 weeks and now won't turn on or charge fully. 2nd replacement came defective and would only turn on if plugged in. When unplugged, even if it looked fully charged, would drain completely in only 15 minutes. We've gone through four of these in just about 75 days and now look at the hassle of trying to get them covered under the extended warranty we purchased. I think a record of trying it 4 times proves that this is not a quality product!

It has started to bug solid. Half the applications work for a few mins, then not at all, it won't turn on sometimes, has trouble charging. It's a bit of a mess. I'm dissapointed because I bought two other Camelio tablets for gifts, and they work fine. Same applications, same programs, everything.

This was an upgrade for my 5 year old daughter from the Nabi. The Nabi was OK but very limited and didn't allow for much growth without re-doing it's OS. This one appears to be much more capable of growing with her. I feel 3 weeks is a bit premature to give a true honest review but take it for what it's worth. I myself am a Samsung fan and currently use the Galaxy S4 phone and Tab 4 8.0. This is not as powerful or fast as my Tab 4 but for the price and the main user being 5 years old, it's great. Setup and updating was easy. Same for the Hello Kitty personality pack/case. During the setup process I noticed the keyboard didn't have the numbers at the top like my Samsung products which kind of annoyed me. Yes, pressing a key to show them isn't difficult but I program machine interfaces at work... sometimes it's the little things. I cannot say anything about the video quality but my daughter said it's fine. She is also able to navigate through the tablet well on her own and without worrying with the parental controls set.I would recommend this to mild tablet users or for beginners. However if you're a heavy user you might want to spend more and get more.

I bought my 8 yr old and 5yr old each there own Camellio tablet. my biggest complaint is the memory. it clearly describes 1G of memory, but me not being so computer savvy, didn't really understand how little that is. The girls often have do delete apps to be able to have enough memory to download another app. Kind of frustrating for them. other than the memory issue, it works great and is easy for the girls to navigate. I just think that for the price there are better tablets out there.

I have 4 of these tablets and they are awesome! My kids have had these for over a month and we have had no problems with them at all. I would recommend these tablets.

Don't waste your time or your money. We bought two of these for our girls for Christmas last year. One had a problem within a day. The company replaced it, but it was a pain because the accessory pack theme card is only valid for a one time use so I had to keep calling back to prove my situation and get a new card number. Then the second one started having problems a few weeks later. We ran out of storage right away so I went and bought 32GB SD cards. Didn't help; the tablet doesn't recognize the storage for apps so we still have to delete apps before they can download new ones. Both have been replaced and now here we are only 8 months after Christmas and both are having multiple issues, like not charging. They'll be getting different units this year.

The USB charing was bad. it push up into the table with in a few weeks. it was a waste of money. i had to buy a new table camelio never return my call or email.
