im severely disabled, cant walk, bed bound mostly, so it was finally nice to see Fermax on AMAZON !! my block of flats, im at the top 10th floor, now i can open the ground floor main door by smartphone, will try to update with more photo's soon, didnt take too many. I also have a 10-meter telephone line (4-pairs twisted cable) as an extension to move the fermax intercom from front door to my bedside. As long as you copy the wiring from the instructions using both your intercom panel and this wi-box so you can marry-up the wiring. Wiring was pretty straight forward, child's play, not rocket science.. Read the setup instructions for a week before installing, go through as much as you can without doing the wirring, setup the app on your phone and youll get there in the end. HomeGroup are the company in charge of my block of flats and after telling them that my front door intercom wasnt working & that i need a wifi mobile phone solution needed, which i dont mind paying for, their customer service told me that " any flat can buzz you in, so thats not a high priority " so youre on your own for installing, but like i said, its not rocket science as long as you got a screwdriver and a weeks rehearsal on the instructions, there isnt anything anyone cant do. Dont bother buying the fermax radiator controllers, they stop the rads getting hot and thus stop heating up any room... very silly..... R&D defect they havent even tested real world situations with... This wifi offering is great though, if youre disabled in any way, this would be a good investment. Tenía un telefonillo de hace más de 15 años y, aunque no echo mucho en falta el vídeo, sí que me planteaba la forma de poder contestar y abrir la puerta desde el móvil. Tanto para no tener que levantarme cuando me pilla en la cama, como para poder abrir si llega algún paquete, etc. Estuve buscando opciones y había una que se me disparaba a más de 300€, necesitaban un router además del propio dispositivo conectado al telefonillo. Además no sabía si funcionaría a ciencia cierta. Hasta que vi este que además de ser compatible, es de la misma marca que mi telefonillo, es decir Femax. En las reseñas había una persona que decía que no era compatible, cosa que descarté en cuanto investigué un poco más. Es compatible con los 3390, y por consiguiente, con mi 2406 del año de la tana. Que mi telefonillo, tan antiguo, se pueda usar con wifi y pudiendo escuchar desde el móvil, es algo que jamás me imaginé. Además la instalación es muy sencilla, basta con colocar 3 hilos en el aparato (trae más, pero los otros hilos son para cuando hay video). La aplicación está muy bien. Cuando llaman por el telefonillo, aparece una alerta de entrada de llamada, con un sonido típico de telefonillo, y al pulsar sobre ella, se abre inmediatamente la app, incluso con el teléfono bloqueado. La única pega es que cuando se abre la aplicación, tarda como 6-8 segundos en conectar el dispositivo por wifi. Como entre que la persona llama, el mensaje salta en el móvil, nos damos cuenta de la llamada, pulsamos la notificación, se abre la app y luego hay que esperar otros 6-8 segundos en que conecte, a veces, si el que llega tiene poca paciencia y llama de nuevo, aparece un popup molesto que te impide coger la llamada primera inicial, o simplemente igual se va. De todos modos, si tienes el móvil y actúas rápido, casi siempre se logra comunicar con éxito. Con el cartero del voto por correo, que tenía prisa, no llegué a tiempo :D En resumen, un aparatito discreto, fácil de instalar, que funciona muy bien y que logra abrir el portal de tu casa desde la cama, desde la playa o desde la torre eiffel, siempre que tengas internet. Lo malo, que si algún vecino escucha que le dices al cartero "no estoy en casa" igual algún vecino que lo escuche no le mole que hayas instalado eso en tu casa y se lo chive a la comunidad o te ponga problemas... ya se sabe que la envidia es muy mala XD

Connection to WiFi was ok, however app does not send any notification if someone rings the bell. I would need to be in the app and know someone is on the door... not sure if it is this module or app issue but it makes no sense.

No recomendada para usuarios de iPhone, pues la notificación al móvil no es sonora, sino un banner, y que aparece demasiado tarde. Imposible de corregir este problema. Desconozco funcionamiento con dispositivos Android
