In our household, we always research and compare quality vitamins and supplements before making our choices, then take them religiously. But we don't really pay attention to whether they seem effective or not. We just down them in a hopeful way in the expectation that they're providing some benefit, whether we actually feel those benefits or not. And we're always skeptical of reviews that claim miraculous benefits (sometimes by those who've only taken them for a day), so I wouldn't want to mislead others by overstating any benefits. But after three weeks taking these gotu kola capsules (and only two a day – not the full recommended dosage of four a day), even we had to admit an undeniable improvement in mental agility and a marked reduction in brain-fog days and the occasional need to rummage around in your head for the appropriate word. So I'm sold on these gotu kola capsules, which are very easy to swallow, being smaller than standard size. Another benefit of gotu kola that appealed to me is that it's a collagen synthesizer. That's an important benefit as our bodies produce less collagen as we age. And as I also take collagen supplements, I hope that it's giving them a boost as well. But to be honest, I haven't noticed any obvious positive changes in my skin, but collagen is also important for joint health, so the gotu kola benefits don't have to be all about vanity. Gotu kola also reportedly improves circulation, supports wound healing, and reduces inflammation – all great benefits. It also has some anti-clotting properties (some doctors recommend taking it along with an aspirin before long flights), so let your physician know you're taking gotu kola prior to undergoing certain medical procedures – they may suggest that you refrain from taking it several days prior. If you try this gotu kola supplement, give it a few weeks, and you may well notice that you feel more mentally sharp and alert. 8/5/26 UPDATE: Be sure to note what happens if you get any small cuts or bruises while taking these capsules. I've now been taking them for about three months, and today I got a very, very small cut on my toe, but by the time I got a bandaid out of the bathroom cupboard, my bathroom looked like a mini-abbatoir. I'm not usually a bleeder, and that small cut would normally have stopped bleeding just by holding a tissue on it for a moment before applying a bandaid, but there was enough blood to soak through several tissues, and big sploshes all over the bathroom floor. So it definitely appears to work well as an anti-coagulent, but apparently I'm not in need of a blood thinner. Which might also explain why I've recently noticed several small bruises – which I also used to get onlyrarely – blooming in unexpected areas. So, you may want to check with your doctor before taking gotu kola, especially if your blood type is O, like mine. My partner is not blood type O, so he hasn't had any issues with suddenly bruising easily or bleeding profusely from small cuts.

Good product, seems to be working well.

Gotu Kola helps me stay on task. It clears brain fog and melancholy; I am doing all of my homework and getting better grades in school. I have even noticed less fatigue after a long day on my feet. This is my fourth bottle! [EDIT: 8/25/2017] The new bottles include a warning with California Proposition 65. According to the settlement available on the state website, this particular warning means the maximum daily suggested dose contains between 0.5 and 15 mcg of lead. I only ever take one capsule out of the suggested four per day, but how much lead is too much? I decided to compare this to the level of lead found in my municipal water supply (City of Fargo). The city's published report, available online, states that my water contains 3 ppb lead. To calculate the lead content of a maximum "daily dose" of water, let's say 1 liter, I multiplied the water weight (1 kg = 1,000 g = 1,000,000 mg = 1,000,000,000 mcg) times the lead content indicated by the report (3 parts per billion) and found that a daily liter of city water contains 3 micrograms of lead. In conclusion, the lead in one liter of municipal city tap water = 3 mcg. Compare to the lead in one capsule of Organic India Gotu Kola = 0.125 to 3.75 mcg. If that is enough to make you worry, then find a different supplier. If not, then enjoy your Organic India Gotu Kola.

I really love this brand — their supplements are always top quality. They might not be the cheapest, but the ingredients are clean, the formulas feel effective, and I always notice a difference when I take them. Definitely a brand I keep coming back to because the quality is worth the price.

The product arrived nicely packaged, and the bottle has an attractive and inviting appearance. The tablets have a pleasant herbal smell, are easy to swallow, and do not leave an unpleasant aftertaste. I have not been taking them long enough to comment on the results, but my first impression of the product is very good.

Brahmi hat mein Leben tatsächlich reicher gemacht und ich vertraue Organic India sehr, deshalb bereue ich diesen Kauf nicht - ABER: wenn man sich auf die Abbildung verlässt und 90 ! Kapseln Inhalt erwartet, wird man betrogen, denn das Bild und die Produktbeschreibung stimmen NICHT überein, der wahre Inhalt der kleinen Flaschen sind 60 ! Kapseln. Ich habe dieses Problem schon 2x amazon geschildert, aber es bewegt sich nichts. Wer also diese Flaschen kauft, ist - was das Produkt angeht - wirklich gut beraten, aber ihr bekommt nur 60! anstelle von 90 ! Kapseln.

I find it starting to help, but I not been on it for long. Hoping for good result as the longer I take it.

I had read quite a bit about the value of this herb for health and various conditions not easily treatable, normally, with conventional medicine. As I have such a problem, I thought i would try it, having nothing to lose. I must say that, so far, I do seem to be benefitting from taking it, and will continue to do so all the while I continue to feel so well.
