I had been using the Amazon Basics cotton rounds for a few years. Sometimes I find cotton rounds to be scratchy, especially around the eyes. I decided to try and find some that were softer and came across these. After reading the reviews I bought a pack. I have been using them for a few weeks and I really love them. They’re super soft and hold a good amount of micellar water without dripping. Because they are larger than cotton rounds and are square shaped I find them easier to hold and swipe across my skin. The pads are pretty thick and easy to pull apart to make two pads. They don’t leave any cotton fibers behind and are excellent for the removal of mascara. These are pricey but I don’t think I can go back to the rougher cotton pads. If it’s in your budget, then I recommend you splurge on these.

These are noticeably softer than regular cotton pads. They feel very gentle on the skin and don’t scratch or leave lint behind. I especially like them for toner and other facial products because they don’t absorb everything immediately. They’re more expensive than basic cotton pads, but the quality is much better.

I wouldn't normally consider facial cotton pads a luxury item, but these look and feel so soft and thick they really -FEEL- expensive. Definitely worth the price, they are absolutely premium cotton content! Speaking of feel, if you're like me and have a few sensory issues, these cotton pads don't feel as bad to touch as the more traditional cotton balls do, if you know you know. I like to cut them into small squares, use them to soak up acetone and place them on my nails to remove polish and other enhancements. They hold up well to vigorous rubbing on my nail surface without disintegrating, which makes the whole process so much easier. I also use them to clean my dog's ears, because they are so soft and a good size to get deep into her ear and get the gunk out. Because they are so large and plush, one bag lasts me over 6 months, with regular polish changes and ear cleanings, in addition to the other uses I find for these square cotton pads, including occasionally using them for their intended purposes; to apply my facial toner or make-up remover. I've got them on autoship I love them so much, could not recommend more highly!

I’ve been using the cotton pads for at least 20 YEARS. Many people don’t realize it’s important to use a soften to wipe the face after cleansing. It would do make sure your face is completely clean and soften before you apply any product on your face. The Shiseido cotton pads has one great feature: one side apply the softener and the other side exfoliates. I use both side so my skin is extra clean and glowy. It helps absorbing the products I put on after softener.

These pads are excellent quality, so soft. It barely feels like I’m using anything on my face. I love them. I use them with micellar water to wipe off my waterproof mascara and apply my collagen serum. Worth the price.

I had been using the muji cotton pads which I like. These are softer and seem more durable.
