I attempted to put it together with superglue and it’s just too unforgiving. After I got done with the base unit, it looked terrible. As I got several levels into the upper unit I applied too much pressure and it came flying apart. I wrote to the seller and asked for replacement pieces. They refunded my purchase which allowed me to buy a third set. This time I used a slow-setting plastics hobby glue and it made all the difference in the world. I just finished the build and couldn’t be more pleased. This is the thirteenth one of these micro sets I’ve done and this was undoubtedly the most enjoyable of them all… NOW, after my first attempt I was pretty pissed. One last thing… I wrote to the seller as asked for a digital copy of the instructions. They hooked me up and it was wonderful to build using my ipad. Review: Awesome when finished! - As mentioned by others, this is not an easy build. All 3300+ pieces must be dumped at once and they are tiny. Building the legs gets tough due to lack of strength but once you add the first deck level it gets pretty well solidified. Don't work on it unless you are in a calm and focused mood but once it's together it's really cool! I love it. A pair of tweezers and a plastic brick remover/installer. I was very disappointed with this set. I tried to build this set twice. Once from the base up and the second time from the middle platform. Once you pass the first or second level the blocks are not sturdy enough. When you push blocks together the lower level collapses and you have rebuild before you continue. It's a nice idea for mini blocks but they don't lock together tight enough to support as you build **Q: Does the base come with the set?** A: The base does come with the set. But once the base and first inch and a half of the legs are complete it is very hard. I don't want to give up because it cost too much money to quit, but it is extremely disagreeable about staying together...even using glue. I'm trying again but it is disheartening.
