The Blue Umbrella is a novella by Ruskin Bond wherein he portrays the beautiful story of an ordinary village girl, Binya and her love towards the blue umbrella which she got in exchange of the price of her lucky charm, the leopard claw necklace. So this way the story is based on her hardships to keep the most attractive and the only coloured umbrella in the village away from everyone mainly from Ram Bharosa, who is in a struggle to get it from Binya anyway at any cost. But atlast she ended up giving it to someone experiencing the truth that there is more joy in giving, than owning something. ❤️❤️❤️😊😊 If I have to sum up this book then this is just one of the amazing work of Ruskin Bond as it conveys multiple emotions like happiness of small things, materialistic joys, kindness, envy, jealousy etc over the little beautiful blue umbrella.
