Made me feel 'rather wealthy'.
I have a LOT of ties. I'm usually in a hurry and I HATE tearing them off those awful grip things that come with the tie. And then the rack holding the others drops to one of the ends and......agh, I hate it.THIS is the answer! It holds LOADS of ties, it organizes them elegantly but the design is so nice and each tie glides smoothly past, enabling easy and QUICK selection of each one.It was easy to install. Just follow the directions (Der!)It's QUIET (so you won't disturb a sleeping partner).I love the light at the end too - not terribly practical but a nice 'decoration'.It's multi directional so you don't have to wait until it revolves all the way 'round. It's quite fun to use as the motion is smooth and even. The only thing is be careful NOT to let the ties catch on other clothing in your closet whilst they revolve!!It would appear the motor is not that strong and any obstruction of the 'dry cleaner' movement would probably strain the motor, maybe causing problems over time. So it needs a space of about 8" in width to operate. Also the tie supports seem just a little flimsy so I wouldn't recommend placing more than one tie on each, although there are so many, unless you have 80 or so, you shouldn't have to. I feel a bit 'millionairish' with this gadget because, although it's very practical, I still feel a bit 'spoilt' to have it.

It holds a lot of ties
My husband is very happy with this solution for his ties. It does pitch forward, but there is a shelf above the closet bar, so it is stopped from going too far forward. He has long ties and this keeps them off the shelf below. He has a very wide tie that doesn't fit well, but it's knitted, so it stays put anyway. The motor works well, the buttons to go back and forth are logical. The light is a nice touch so to match colors easily. This organizes his ties well. It also is easy to remove and replace the ties.It is plastic, but shouldn't need to be more hefty for the job it does.He has a couple bow ties that we hung on the belt hooks. Pretty convenient!

Really enjoy it. Light is useless though

Nice design
Works as advertised. I have several ties and bought 2. They are working great even fully loaded.

Great for the TIE person!
Got this a few days ago because my old one of 20 years stopped working. This is better and it's quiet and fast moving. Simple to install. Now it makes me want to get more ties! Totally recommend and it's a great gift idea!

Very Convenient and Handy!!!!!
I love this Tie Rack!!! I love the facts that it holds about 72 ties and it rotates either in a clockwise direction or a counter clockwise direction. It makes it easy to find a tie that goes with my suit that I’m currently wearing!!!

Fits firmly to larger dowel style rods
If affixed to a large wooden dowel standard in older closets, this stays firmly in place. It fits those best I believe based off other reviewers and what I’ve experienced. It looks great, holds ties and displays them well, and can hold a fair amount of belts as well.

Poorly Designed with Underpowered Motor
I would not recommend this device for those seeking a bar-mounted solution. As other reviewers mentioned, the unit has absolutely no way of leveling itself when mounted on a bar. Without any ties loaded onto the hooks, the device will lean forward after installing. I saw some reviews suggest putting a spacer in the gap between the top of the device and the bottom of the shelf above, which works, but only to prevent it from leaning forward. That is to say, when you load ties onto it--unless you fill the entire rack with 72 ties--as soon as you begin rotating your ties, when they reach the rear of the device the weight shifts and the spacer falls out, causing the device to lean back instead of forward or remaining level. Obviously this device was designed with a wire rack install in mind, because it's evident the design for bar mounted solutions was an afterthought to try and sell more units. It's terribly flawed.Even if you put in a spacer, and load the rack with all 72 ties to prevent weight shifting forward or aft, you run into another problem entirely. One that I saw mentioned in another review. The motor sucks. When not loaded, or partially loaded, the motor spins too fast. When fully loaded, it spins painfully slow, or not at all. The sound coming from the device sounds like the motor is choking, and struggling to spin your ties.I've got a large enough custom walk-in closet that I may just throw this piece of junk out and have the closet company come back and modify one of the drawers to accommodate ties, because this product misses the mark. Save your money. The only way I would recommend this to someone is if you are installing in a wire rack, and if you don't intended to fill it with ties. Perhaps do one tie every other hook, for example.
