The best tool I’ve used. I’ve used off brand and furminator brushes, they’re unbelievably slow and my dog hates them. Tried a vacuum brush, which was the worst product. I’ve tried a few rakes, most don’t do much, one is fantastic and my dog doesn’t mind for a few minutes. This is way faster and my dog leaning into it like he’s getting a good scratch. It pulls off was more undercoat very quickly, easily the best product I’ve used. Cheap, fast and effective, what more could you want?

It makes grooming much easier, especially when I need to reach tricky spots like the belly and legs. I was a little skeptical about this when I bought it because I hadn’t used one before. Let me tell you, it works at pet hair removal. I’d never seen so much hair come off of my dog. I have a large breed dog and it’s easy to use it on him. For the wider areas of his body I unhook it and it covers more space. The quality is solid. It’s got a solid handle on it and the metal band is well attached. It’s very easy to clean it. Seriously, run it under some water and the pet hair comes off. Definitely worth the $10 I paid for it.

It’s works fine and will get the job done, although the blade is too thin and flexible to work very well in the one-handed, folded mode. Compared to other, similar deshedders that I have used, this blade flexes significantly more when using it in that format. The handle is comfortable, easy to use, and fairly robust, but doesn’t make up for the poor blade quality in my opinion.

Works incredibly well on my cats. Better than anything else that I have ever used on them. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I grew up on a horse farm and know the strength and helpfulness of a shedding blade. I’d never thought to use it on a small animal, but broke down and bought one for the cats. They constantly are vomiting hairballs and other hair brushes just don’t cut it. In the past 24 hours since using this, the cat throw-up (eww) has been cut in half! Success.
