You either love it or you hate it. I love it.

8 of the 12 Moxie cans were damaged on arrival. The box was bound in clear packing tape and looked like it literally fell off a truck. This clearly happened before it was re-sold. Gonna say that Amazon did not cause this damage. As for the soda itself: my Mainer friend said they must have changed the formula after he drank some. It is supposed to have a stronger aftertaste. It just tasted like a bad fernet and coke. Pretty disappointed.

I'm a big fan of bitters. Chinotto, Mauby Drink, Sanbitter, etc.. Moxie has always been a long time favorite. It contains gentian root which is somewhat bitter. It has an unbelievably good flavor that must be tasted for yourself because it is impossible for me to explain. Plus with drinks like this, you really need to form your own opinion. I can only vouch for loving this drink so much. In the scheme of things as far as bitter, it's probably the least bitter I've had. It's not crazy like chinotto or sanbitter. It's even less bitter than Mauby Drink. That's why I think this is a great introduction to bitter drinks. And for the money, it's worth your attention. It may just become your favorite drink too!

First original pop that came out first and than coke or Pepsi came last ..this is great taste pop ...it way over pricey ...but beautiful taste of root beer and vanilla. Very sweet taste. I say it best of best
