There are other ways to cook food while camping. Cooking is one of the best pasttimes. Gathering around and the conversations, and the fun of watching the food cook. This book gives you many alternatives to cooking without using a "Blackstone". I don't own one and don't intend to.

Nice change of pace for the usual meals planned for camping. Portions need to be adjusted for a lot of them.

didn't have as many easy recipes as I would have thought to many ingredients for when u are camping

Great for camping
we bought this primarily to use for iseas for what to have and bring when we go camping. We have also used the ideasin the home as well. The kids love going through it and picking out what they would like to try/have.
