This grater is amazing! Easy to set up, easy to clean. I've been using hand graters all my life and always hated them as it took forever and usually hurt my hands after awhile. This thing fixes that. It shreds cheese quickly and easily. What would have taken me at least 30 minutes to do by hand, this grater did in about 5 mins. The suction works really well too. It may differ on different types of surfaces, but on my kitchen counter it gripped without moving. *I have not used it for anything but cheese, so I cannot speak to how well it works on anything else.

Works very well and cleans up easily. I was looking for an easy to use shredder safer than the flat one. This is perfect. I was pleased with the price also.

This grater works wonderfully. I have noth a large and small food processor but I'd rather use this. Easy to use and clean. It has 3 different grater attachments. It's a really good kitchen tool for multiple uses.

I already own a rotary grater -- plastic snap-in blades, wider feed chute, basic lever lock. It works GREAT. I bought this Geedel specifically to upgrade to stainless steel drums, because plastic blades touching food never fully sat right with me and I wanted something built to last. I was willing to sacrifice convenient storage of the snap-in blades for slightly unwieldy stainless steel tubes. Most of this delivers: The stainless steel drums are sharp, solid, and satisfying to swap. The dial that locks the drum in place is a genuine upgrade over the old flip-lever style, it is smooth, secure, no wobble, no accidental releases mid-grate (unlike the one mentioned above). The suction base holds firm. The crank turns like it means business. Everything about this grater says quality right up until the moment you try to feed it something and expect it to come out easily. That spout is the whole problem. It is narrow in a way that feels like an oversight rather than a choice. My old plastic grater with its wider spout never made me dig out the cheese or veggies or whatever I was shredding. That wider opening was not a cheap shortcut , it was the whole point. Four stars: the dial lock alone is worth switching for, the stainless steel is exactly what I wanted, and the chute is the only thing standing between this grater and true perfection.

I've tried hand cranked graters before and was always disappointed. Not with this one. It sets up stable on the counter with no slipping. The downward angle ensures food comes out instead of getting clogged. It's easy to set up, clean and use. Here's what's really pleased me - it shreds butter. Frozen but it's more then I could have asked for; helps make the best pie crust. Great addition to the kitchen.

Great Grater! So much easier than the hand held crank version. And way faster than using a microplane. There is a really strong suction cup that will stick it firmly to a counter. Mechanics are super smooth. Even the hardest Parmigiano-Reggiano glided through. The three blades has all I need. All the parts are durable, as I found when it accidentally fell off the counter prior to first use. Easy clean as well. 5stars for sure!

What a great tool to have. So glad I made the purchase. This item was purchased for the purpose of grating cheese and Vegetables. The ease in putting together and dismantling this grater was a plus for me. The cleaning of the different parts after using the grater was easier than I expected it would be. I learned the cheese should be very cold when grating. If it's soft the grated cheese will stick inside the cylinder and you will have trouble getting it out. This was also easy to cut vegetables; the blades are very sharp. The suction is also good, and it stabilized the grater. This purchase was worth the money I spent, I like it and I will keep using it.

I love it. I had a different one, but it broke. So, I tried this one and it worked much better. It is smaller than the other but it works much better. First of all, it really attaches to my counter top. Just turn the knob, and it grabs on securely. It shreds cheese easily, and also works well on the carrots. It is also easy to clean.
