Awesome
Bought this for my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. Kept getting codes P0455 small leak detected. Then the gas cap warning light would come up on the dash along with the code. Long story short, bought 3 gas caps and no fix. Upped the fuel grade and no good. Ran across this guy on YouTube and he described what was going on. I said why not. Can't hurt anything. Well low and behold, this leak detector did the trick. Took about 10 minutes to replace without the need for tools. And the guy even said to check the other one to make sure it was bad. He said to shake it and if it rattles, it's bad. Well mine sounded like Maracas ๐ช. No check engine light or gas cap light showing up and it's been nearly 1000 miles without them coming on. The best cheap fix I've found and believe me when I say, I needed a cheap fix. Something so simple and inexpensive. Who would of ever thought??. Oh and did I say how easy to was to replace?? Quarter twist, disconnect the vacuum line and install. Easy peasy.

Easy to change out
This worked perfect for my 2017 Pacifica. Cleared the code and havenโt had any problems since. There are a couple videos on how to change it out and I opted to remove the drivers side back tire to get in behind the wheel. I thought it was better than trying to work past it. Easy to change and no special tools.

Worked great, but wasn't exactly right
I would've given 5 stars, but the electrical connection is on the wrong side compared to the original part on my 2014 Ram 1500 5.7 4x4. It still worked, but this made it a bit more difficult to install. Immediately turned off my DTC P0456 engine light. It's about a 10-15 minute fix with little or no tools required. Go for it! ๐๐ป

Fixed P0456 - 2010 VW Routan SE 3.8L
As the title states: Fixed P0456 - 2010 VW Routan SE 3.8L Worked great for my 2010 VW Routan... which is a rebranded Chrysler Town & Country mini-van. I purchased this Dorman version as I've had great luck with Dorman products. The pump has a little different internal valve configuration than the factory... probably an upgraded design. Hardest part of the job was jacking up the van. The pump is located above the driver's side rear axle. Was super easy to replace and built very solidly built pump. With the new o-ring the pump will be a little tight while twisting on. Just make sure pump is square to canister while turning. The old o-ring probably wasn't even sealing but the new one will stop any leakage. Can't beat the price as it's super easy to replace. A mechanic would charge over $200 to do this job. It's a great value for the money to do it yourself.

It never hurts to replace parts that affordable and simple to replace
Just bought a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport so I have been updating and upgrading everything from looks to mechanical. Kelp getting all the evap codes so I replaced it. This wasnโt the issue it was a broke nipple on top of the fuel take that is unserviceable or replaceable. Easy fix buy an extendable magnet take it apart put it through the nipple. I used JB quick set glue to hold it then used JB weld putty for extra protection. Unless you have $500โ$700 sitting around this cost me $35 and will never break again. I still put the part on it was easy to replace, affordable and no more codes

Lekdetectiepomp
Levering duurde even maar dat wist ik al tijdens het bestellen. Montage was een fluitje van een cent en de foutmelding van de EVAP die ik had is verdwenen.
