JACO Lightning S2 Quick-Connect Tire Air Chuck - 1/4" F-NPT (Open Flow) (2-Pack)

I am an old guy and stooping down and or kneeling is not fun for me. I had the kind where you hold down a lever, push it on, and then let go of the lever expecting it to hold it on the valve stem. If you are reading this, you probably know how well that works. A while ago I stumbled on one where you screw it on the valve stem. I eagerly bought it. At first it seemed great. It doesn't leak or come off. The problem is that the threads have to be aligned perfectly or it won't screw on. It took more bending and kneeling than my original one to get it on. Maybe a different brand would be better, I don't know, but there don't seem to be that many of that kind available. I really didn't want to spend this much, and I really don't need two, but I am glad I did. It really works amazingly well. Just push it on and it locks automatically. When you are done, push the little button and it comes off. It really is that easy. It seems to be made well and I don't expect it to wear out quickly. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

I thought I would try the less expensive JACO Lightening 52, before I dropped major dollars on a LockNFlate style air chuck. I am so glad that I did. One could not ask for a better air chuck. This JACO Lightning S2-Series Tire Air Chuck was the perfect addition to my RapidAir tire inflator. I had purchased a RapidAir K3015 Automatic Shutoff Digital, Preset Tire Inflator. The K3015, is a fabulous tool, but it is expensive. Even at a high price point, it comes standard with the old style clip on brass air chuck. The kind of air chuck that you have to mess with all the time to keep it from leaking air around the valve stem. I replaced the Included OEM chuck with a JACO Lightning. It was a 100% improvement. There is no fiddling or fussing with the Jayco. Just push it on the valve stem and you are ready for hands-free inflation. When you are ready to remove it from the valve stem, simply press the release on the side and it pops right off. Don't hesitate to order it. It definitely works as advertised. Note: Air chucks come in 2 types, open or closed. Only the “OPEN” style chuck will work correctly on any inflation tool that has a pressure gauge or a digital pressure readout, included on the device. A “closed” and/or self-sealing, shut off, type chuck, will prevent any inline tire pressure pressure gauge from working. That is because A “closed” self-sealing, chuck, will not allow the air flow back from the tire, in the opposite direction to put pressure against the gauge. Only use a closed chuck on an air hose that you do not want to deliver air, unless it is connected on a valve stem.

We have an RV and keeping the tires at proper inflation is a very important safety item. It was a morning chore that I dreaded until I got this thing. The RV has 6 big truck tires and they take a lot of air. With the old chuck I would struggle to hold it in place and not leak. With this one, I just stick it on the valve stem and it holds on until I am done. Press the button and it lets go -- very simple, very easy. Note -- it comes in 2 flavors, open flow and closed flow. I am using an inline pressure gauge and I want a reading when I stop adding air, hence the open flow. If you check pressure with a separate gauge, get the closed flow; otherwise, you would drain your air tank when you remove it. Wonderful device. I will try to do a quick video one day.

This tire air chuck does exactly what it promises. You push it onto the tire valve and it seals with no leaks. No wiggling the connection needed. I tried the others you see on Amazon and they MAY seal with some wiggling if your lucky. Get this one or one of the other variants by JACO. They work!

Got this for compressor that I keep in the car. Kinda pricey, but high quality and has been durable. Its nice that it just pushes on the valve, turn on the compressor, and the air flows into tire. The head of the chuck rotates so it fits on different vehicles as they all seem to have different shape spokes.

I don't know why I hadn't "meet" this device any sooner. It is simple, efficient and works really well. Sounds obvious but once tightly screwed onto your inflator hose, you just have to put it on the valve and it "airtightens" automatically without you being obliged to maintain it strongly pressed towards the valve. Great piece of equipment, I can only recommend it.

Every now and then you find a product that just works. It does exactly what it says it will do. Yeah it's expensive but you get what you pay for. I bought these to build a better hose/chuck setup for my VIAIR 300P. Best air chuck I have ever used by miles and miles.

I was sceptical about the stuff I had read These are what I have been looking for! Push on and they latch hard enough I suspect you could whirl the wheel above you if you had enough faith in the hose and your own strength They "pop" off with a simple push on the latch loosing hardly any air Hoping they stay this way for a long time was getting soooo frustrated with the "clips" that my inflators came with that would let go/go on at a bad angle and leak that I googled for a better solution - these got glowing reviews, and so far am glad I found them

I’ll fit these to everything I can fit them to. Fantastic design, easy to fit, no leaking.
