This is really good wire & really value priced.... It took me a while to find "pure copper" wire. Most of what is out there these days is "copper plated aluminum wire"... I needed flat wire that could hold up under carpet. While this wire is flat enough to not be a trip hazard I've read that the copper plated aluminum wire distorts/frays & begins to crumble when walked on and eventually will break strand by strand. That plus all the comments about corrosion of the aluminum. Transaction and shipping went well.

Pretty flexible and nice, neutral color

This turned out to be an excellent product for home theater runs through walls and ceilings. It is flat wire and I wasn't sure what to expect. But, it pulled easily and could be readily stripped at the ends for connection. For CL2 wire it was quite easy to work with and a great value.

Great wire was able to hide under my carpet. Don't even notice it's there.

Very Good Cable, Runs Invisible under the rug or carpet

The flat 16 gauge speaker wire stays hidden under the carpet or wood floors to maintain a nice clean look and works great. Because the wire is flat, it bends easily to come up from the floor and attach to your speakers. However, it does not bend like normal round cable so plan your cable route carefully. If you are not use to stripping speakers wire, cut off a small piece and practice. The cable is not marked + and - but there is writing on one side and not the other. I use the side with writing as my + side. Either side will work, just be consistent so the polarity isn’t compromised.

A perfect solution for running wiring under rug to feed rear channel speakers. I notice that after a few walks on the rug the wire tends to twist, no longer lies flat. I feel I will be forced to tape it to the floor. As others have said, it is a bit tricky to strip the covering, must be very careful with the diagonal cutters (common wire stripping tools for round wire don't work)!

The wiring is nice and thick compared to the old wiring I had. And it was nice and flat so easy to hide while running it to my surround. I ended up not having enough for all 6 of my speakers so will be buying more soon.

we use it for our side speakers and ran it under the carpet. as we hoped it is hardly detectable even with a fairly thin carpet. i used a permanent marker to colour the exterior black for the two short sections that are exposed and it helped to make the wires undetectable to guests. have used it with a very sophisticated sound system and speakers with terrific success.

Decent cable but as wilth all flat cables its a problem to bend around corners when flat under carpet is in my instillation, feels well made, strips back easy with my CK strippers and one side printed to enable easy differentiation between positive and negative. However it's not white as I thought, its beige. I've just checked advert and it actually doesn't say what colour it is, will have to paint over it now where it goes up wall to speakers. Also it's pure copper
