Capping disused chimneys was quick & easy
Had new fascia & gutters fitted so took advantage of the scaffold & climbed up to the roof, measured our chimney pots diameter (11") & bought x3 C-Cap (300mm) on Sunday, apparently arriving the following Friday. They arrived today (Tuesday), which is super early & a super awesome service. The scaffold is still here so I've been up on the roof again literally 15 mins after. Assembly is simple, just check the slots for which spring bar fits first, stand them in & tighten the retaining clip. Fitting is just as easy. Put two of the spring legs inside a pot, then push the other two in (together or one at a time, your choice). Push the cap down flat onto the pot top & you're done. It took about 10 mins total for my three, they look smart, are ventilated & many reviews say they hold up well in high winds (we shall see). I'm just happy the rain won't get in. They feel solid, the springs are firm, they do everything a more expensive clay or metal cap will do for way less money... so even if it looks pricey for what they are they do seem to be great value for money in comparison. No grouts or sealant required. Highly recommended.

Supringly Good
Bought to replace an old pot on a disused chimney. It's easy to assemble, the retaining frame has to be shaped slightly to get into the chimney pot, but once in fits solidly. Be interesting to see how much it fades due to UV as it's plastic. All in all it does what it says on the tin.

Perfect
I read the reviews and compared to a lot of the chimney caps this one seemed to be exactly what I needed. I needed one that would withstand the very strong winds we get here, that was sturdy and easy to fit, this was all of those things and very good value for money. We fitted it straight away and in only a few days we have noticed how much warmer the room is and no rain coming down the chimney, it also has a vent under the top so I know there will be no damp in the chimney. A great idea and would recommend.

Good product
Good fit with just a small air gap around the edge. Easy to install and even better value now it's been reduced in price.

Covers unused chimneys whilst still allowing ventillation
Covers unused chimneys easily and stops birds or rain getting in. It should be fitted by someone like a chimney sweep or roofer but if you're a competent DIYer with a decent ladder you'll have no problem. Designed to fit a standard round chimney pot while allowing trickle ventilation and reducing heat loss from your house. Measure your chimney pot carefully as they're available in two sizes.

Simple and effective
I kid thee not, from the delivery driver knocking on the door to me fitting them in less than half an hour, easy installation, sturdy construction, good tight fit while maintaining some degree of ventilation via an insect screen. These will certainly cut down on heat loss during the winter, only decided to fit something like this as I was repointing the chimney anyway, should've done it years ago.
