## Description

Finish: Terracotta Fixing: Galvanised Steel Spring Wires Total Height: 43mm Height of Blades: 250mm Pot Diameter: 280mm"

Review: Capping disused chimneys was quick & easy - Had new fascia & gutters fitted so took advantage of the scaffold & climbed up to the roof, measured our chimney pots diameter (11") & bought x3 C-Cap (300mm) on Sunday, apparently arriving the following Friday. They arrived today (Tuesday), which is super early & a super awesome service. The scaffold is still here so I've been up on the roof again literally 15 mins after. Assembly is simple, just check the slots for which spring bar fits first, stand them in & tighten the retaining clip. Fitting is just as easy. Put two of the spring legs inside a pot, then push the other two in (together or one at a time, your choice). Push the cap down flat onto the pot top & you're done. It took about 10 mins total for my three, they look smart, are ventilated & many reviews say they hold up well in high winds (we shall see). I'm just happy the rain won't get in. They feel solid, the springs are firm, they do everything a more expensive clay or metal cap will do for way less money... so even if it looks pricey for what they are they do seem to be great value for money in comparison. No grouts or sealant required. Highly recommended.
Review: Supringly Good - Bought to replace an old pot on a disused chimney. It's easy to assemble, the retaining frame has to be shaped slightly to get into the chimney pot, but once in fits solidly. Be interesting to see how much it fades due to UV as it's plastic. All in all it does what it says on the tin.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: My chimney cowl is 11 inches wide. Is this big enough to go over the top? Is the 280 mm you quote the internal measurement? Thanks**
A: Mine is now on the chimney, so I can't measure it but the information that came with the product says that it comes in two sizes
"300mm the standard C Cap for pots up to 11" outside diameter"
"350mm for larger than average pots up to 13" outside diameter"
I bought the standard one. It was easy to fit and I'mhappy with it.

**Q: Is it possible/easy to remove these if I decide to use the chimney at a later date?**
A: Yes, this item can be easily removed once installed as it is simply held in place by 2 galvanised steel spring wires gripping the inside of the pot.

**Q: This is to put on a disused campervan chimney. Can you recomend a rubber seal or cap to go under the c-cap to stop rain running down the chimney?**
A: This cap is designed to fit on a house chimney which is much wider than that on a camper. When fitted to the right size chimney it stops water running in very effectively.

**Q: Do you have other sizes, ie one to fit 300mm diameter pot?**
A: Good morning,

thank you for your message. this is the only sized of C disused chimney cap that we sell I'm afraid.

best regards,
Dianne
