What is the thickness of the leather part?

It appears to be 2mm with the peal off backing, so my guess is 1 mm or so without white peal off.

I want to use these to hold my stylus but i dont know if my syluses are too thin. I use the chaoq felt mesh tip ones.

They hold BIC size pens. Stylus would be too thin.

Do they hold thicker pens like ink joys ?

Yes, they do hold thicker pens. I use one to hold a sharpie marker and it works great. However, any pen with a cushion for the knuckle does not slide out and in very easily.
