Flea and Tick Collar for Large Dogs

I have used these collars for decades. Many flea and tick products contain neurotoxins. These can cause seizures in some dogs. (Around 5%) topicals and internals contain these chemicals. When I tried new products on my last two springers they were noticeably ill for 24 hrs. after application. I use the zodiac collar exclusively now. They work okay !!

I bought these collars for my two dogs and they have been wearing then for less than a month. They have had many tick bites already -- even right next to where the collars are! I went in today to see if I could return them but the return window has closed. I would not recommend these collars - they do not work.

The collar is easy to use, but after a few weeks, it smells moldy. After another week, your dog smells moldy and so do your hands after you pet them. Too bad

Have used this brand for years and have never had a problem with fleas or ticks. It's difficult and can be expensive finding the larger collars. Zodiac is the only one that's inexpensive, comfortable, works as advertised, and doesn't irritate our Bully. We'd tried another brand recently, because the large size was out of stock, and very sorry we did, as she experienced a tremendous allergic reaction under her neck, which left her with hair loss, irritation, and a thickening of her skin as it healed over. Couldn't wait to find her size available from Zodiac again! Thank you Zodiac!!!

They absolutely work on fleas. Are they flimsy? Yes. do they come off easy? Honestly I can see how it could but I have two very playful dogs and the only time they come off is if one physically pulls it off the other. For the price I wouldn’t expect anything more. I found 1 flea after being at someone’s house who had them so I got these, gave them a bath and we haven’t found any since!

It just doesn't work. Ticks keep coming out from my dog's fur like they used to.
